The worst app I have encountered
How could such great tech have such a terrible app? Who has 10 hours to try and connect it to the device. It’s a complete crapshoot. Would be nice if they fixed the problem but I think it’s gotten worse since the last time I tried. This might be the worst app of all time. At least the top notch filter does the job w o it.

Die Routine zum Verbinden des Luftreinigers mit der App muss sich ein echter Sadist ausgedacht haben. Zumal auch noch die Kurze Videosequenz zum Zurücksetzen des Luftreinigers komplett irreführend ist.
Worthless App
I have been trying to connect my AP80 to this app and it will not connect. App just up and closes when trying to connect.

Wochen Planner funktioniert nicht, auch ist manchmal keine Verbindung zum Gerät, trotz mehrmaliger Installation der App. In Summe sehr verbesserungswürdig.

Horrible app
I have tried to make a new account 3 separate times. It never sends authentication email. I have checked my spam,junk,inbox and have nothing . Any time i try to log in it says my information is incorrect and i know the emails correct so basically i have this great machine and want to utilize all the functions like schedules and can’t bc the app is absolute garbage. If i could do less than one star i would bc the app currently is just wasted storage. I see all these other bad reviews about pairing the device and I can’t even get logged into the thing yet. I can’t imagine the issues I have when I do finally get in and I am not computer illiterate….good times

Fails on iOS 16.4.1
App signup fails on listed iOS version, never sends email to set up account. App should not require an account for privacy reasons. Would prefer eve like privacy policies e.g. no account required.

APP Verbindung wird garnicht erst hergestellt
Kauf Ideal AP 40 pro.
Nach zig Versuchen, App löschen und wieder aufs IPhone lief immer noch keine Verbindung. Es nervt!!!! Wenn wir schon einen solches höherpreisiges Gerät kaufen, dann sollte die Fernbedienung entweder problemlos und auch aus 5 Meter Entfernung problemlos funktionieren oder der Hersteller sorgt dafür, dass diese bescheidene APP funktioniert. Wenn es die Chinesischen Hersteller schaffen dann sollte das für uns erst recht kein Problem sein. Oder doch???

Current app is already a while with us but it’s terrible. We have Ideal 40pro device few years now and first app was maybe not that “advanced” but it served it’s purpose. After changing app design it’s no longer user friendly. It disconnects from the device and most of the time you can use it as there is no connection…! I have tried almost everything…. and decided to upgrade device and get rid of Ideal….

Die Verbindung zum ap40pro hat mich 2 Tage beschäftigt was aber an der vpn liegt als ich die deaktiviert hab ging’s ne Verbindung zu Apple Home Kit Alexa oder Google home wäre teilweise praktisch

Setting up across both platforms and sharing devices + rooms is impossible for multi-room, multi device, multi-user households - which, surprisingly enough IdealGMBH, in today’s world - DOES EXIST!

iOS geht nicht mit AP80Pro
Wir sind eine Rechtsanwaltskanzlei und haben uns für ein teures Gerät vom Markt aus Deutschland entschieden. Unter anderem auch wegen der Werbung des Herstellers mit der Steuerung per App, um den Überblick zu behalten.
Trotz vieler Versuche verbindet sich das Gerät nicht. Die Einrichtung bleibt lang mit dem Kommentar: „this may take a minute“ Hängen.Danach erfolgt der Abbruch mit einer Fehlermeldung.
Die Bewertungen anderer Benutzer hätten wir lieber vorher anschauen sollen.
Eigentlich ein Armutszeugnis, da jeder chinesische Hersteller eines Smart – Home – Gerätes das besser hin bekommt.

VERY DISAPPOINTED
I bought 3x AP60 PRO and 1x AP80 PRO for a lot of money.
The application in „top” purifiers does not show:
1) data from the sensors of the device !!!
2) it is not possible to control online purifiers (only in the range of wifi)
3) it is not possible to set a schedule for how the device should work.
4) application is very unintuitive
I do not recommend the above devices, I regret the purchase !!! It was supposed to be premium and it is embarrassing because of the application and its purposeful limitations !! In marketing material there was no information about limitation of the app.

Jeżeli zależy Wam na monitorowaniu jakości powietrza to ta aplikacja jest jednym WIELKIM NIEPOROZUMIENIEM!!!! Pomimo ,że ideal ap pro 30 posiada czujnik jakości powietrza to nie da się zobaczyć pomiarów w aplikacji, bo po wprowadzeniu na rynek dodatkowego czujnika (opcjonalnego ) mierzącego jakość powietrza funkcje te są w wyłączone. Również zapomnijcie o sterowaniu zdalnym za pomocą sieci komórkowej. Działa tylko po wi-fi Urządzenie za ponad 2 tys. zł , a aplikacja tandetna!!!!!

Hopeless and frustrating
So many attempts to make it right, so many fails. Ongoing problems with pairing of AP40 Pro. If you have both Air Sensor and AP40 Pro and you want to you use the sensor to control the purifier, forget it. The sensor is reliably switching the purifier off all the time. Sensor is completely useless. What a waste of money.

AS10 Required.
AS10 Required. This unit list for $399. My dealer did not tell me that I need to invest in another device to get the readings from the sensors. The price of the add on unit is outrageous and the dealer was deceptive.
keine anleitung und nur mit netzwerk?
ap60pro. es fehlt die anleitung und welche funktionen die app überhaupt bringen soll. statt einer direkten verbindung zwischen app und gerät wird nach einer ssid und deren password gefragt. unnötig und sicherheitsrisiko. eine einfache blutooth oder wlan direktverbindung würde mir reichen aber nicht gleich einbindung in ein netzwerk wegen eines gerätes. mit dummy daten für ssid und pwd schaffe ich es das die app sogar daten upload zum gerät macht aber dann abbricht. sodann erklärt mir die app per video wie ich das gerät zurücksetze. kompliziert und undurchsichtig. ich geb auf. schade. im handbuch und faq ist überhaupt nichts erklärt zu voraussetzungen und funktionen. die download page des akt handbuchs ist auf einem tablet nicht zu erkennen welches handbuch das richtige ist. links ist erstmal ein arabisches, musst rumprobieren. dateisymbole sind oben ausserhalb des fensters teilweise und nicht zu sehen. ein schönes gerät aber die app hier ist eine katastrophe beim design und usabulity, ich bin kein b tester. ärgerlich
wenn ich einen raum zufügen möchte und die ersten buchstaben tippe erscheinen vorschlage aus meinen kontakten für personen obwohl diese freigabe auf meine kontakte habe ich nicht erteilt. sicherheitslücke, risiko!,,,,
