Musical Chairs app but it’s not a game, Not Promising, Unreliable and Diabolical

The way this app is set up and it’s functionalities is beyond annoying. Upon my initial use of the app the experience seemed to be promising but then I would attempt to accept the gigs as if I am on a hamster wheel racing to book a gig but just like that poor the gig will disappear. Reminds you of that old insurance commercials with the old guy wearing the fisherman pants and waving the dollar on the fishing rod.. Everytime I try to book a gig and I miss it I hear him saying “ohhh you gotta be quicker than that.” It’s so cruel and diabolical to create an app that you claim helps people financially all while you are destroying them mentally. Especially in this economic climate that the world is currently in. They should throw the entire app away and start a more reliable and efficient one. All this app is doing is draining your manpower. On top of all of that they send you an “invite” with the utmost incompetence knowing that there are possibly hundreds of candidates that this one and only gig is being sent to. This is why I refer to it as the “musical chairs of an app”. Only in this case there is only one chair and there are hundreds of candidates fighting for one spot. Common sense is not common. I just hate the way the world is set up right now. It seems all of the insensitive monsters who lack common courtesy, mores and mannerisms and simple empathy for others have all the money and are super insufficient in the department of common sense. The creator of this platform has to be a complete madman.

No Jobs

Had for awhile, no jobs yet...

Not worth it

Yo theirs no option to update your phone number if you need to access your account. So with that because I’m locked out you get 1 star. I will update to 5 stars and edit my review once I see the update for a way to reach out to update my phone number.

HR issues

if you have a dispute with a client, whether wrong or right the “HR” team has no incentive to believe you, they only crack down if you have an issue with a fellow worker. That leads to very obvious issues, the best they can do is not send you to that location again, which a “nicer” form of retaliation.
additionally shifts are very hard to come by reliably, they pop up and are snatched so if you have a slow phone, good luck.
occasionally you’ll find a good location to work at and if you’re lucky you might be able to work there somewhat consistently, but I wouldn’t depend on this for income; it’s possible but even if you have an *excellent* rating, they’ll drop you on the dime if you get one pissy client who doesn’t like you. that leads to constant paranoia, scrambling to see if you’re going to get a gig before it expires, looking at whether or not it’s at a location that you feel safe or comfortable with, and rolling the dice with the manager of the week.

I’ve met nice people, had some easy days, and made money, but frankly that’s true of almost every single job. I don’t recommend it.

Great income supplement

User friendly app, expand your network.

Very little work

It would be a better app if they had more shift and with better pay reach to client to open more jobs for your gig work it’s not enough promotion to increase the work flow

It fake and scam

This app a scam and full of bs I got email saying I’m not experienced to sign up for a job yet I past the assignment stay away they not worth it

Run by AI

The entire app and business is overrun with AI now. I’ve been working with this company going back to its former version, JitJatJo, but I’m moving on after the app decided to suspend me for “being late” when arriving to a gig and there was nobody available to clock me in. Even after I tried reaching out to someone, anyone, at Ideal, I only kept getting the same message from an AI chatbot. Save your time, and find some other shift gig company that still values their talent.
