Rip off
I purchased a “lifetime” once only purchase of this software in 2017. I went to use it today to find that the purchase is no longer valid and the publisher wanted me to pay $129 for another “lifetime subscription”! No thanks!! Total rort! LIFETIME is LIFETIME. Totally over software companies and their rip off subscription model.

Changed to subscription base
Was initially good. Really didn’t need updates as it was. But forced “free” updates eventually justified in their minds that they could charge a subscription fee. No grandfathering of people who bought the software upfront. Disappointing.
Beware! Update is a set up..Clearly
I purchased this app before, and now after an update that was not made clear that one would loose their purchase in change of a subscription. On top of that, there is no way to revert back to a previous versions. This was intentional. There were other options you could have pursued, but instead you chose to get one over on your costumers. Your excuses are found wanting. Unfortunately, this kind of bad faith business practice is not limited to just you guys. This had gotten out of hand.I rarely leave rating or reviews. For me to take the time and make one is not good, and the dissatisfaction high.

Rip off
Yet another vendor who decided to abandon the people who supported them in the beginning. More garbage in the landfill.
Still my go to app for designing!
This was one of my first apps ever purchased for the iPad. I designed an octagon deck with it and a radiator shroud for my truck. Glad to see the developer is still making updates!
Paid, then scammed.
It was a good app, I didn’t need updates. But restoring my iPad forced an update (so no, I DIDN’T have a choice.)
This isn’t even legal.
I would be very careful about supporting these people, and we can only hope for a swift bankruptcy and related consequences to their lives for disrupting people’s ability to use the application they paid for.

Crippled
I don’t use this app much but used to rely on it for occasional drawings. I may remember this wrong, but I think i paid for it at the time it was for purchase without subscription. Now that I wanted to use it again, the forced subscription turns this into can expensive casual app for me or reduced to be a viewer only. My memory may serve me wrong, but having originally paid for a perpetual app makes this change unacceptable. Why not freeze the original release and introduce an iDesign2 to continue with a subscription. I understand the business model, but cannot help the disappointment.

Pessima

Hate subscriptions !
I agree with many other reviewers that when developers go down the subscription route it is no longer an option to keep using that particular app, especially when you owned it outright before. Other apps have a legacy version that allows you to use the last non subscription version for as long as you want. Not good enough!

Amazing Capabilities
This is pretty amazing for something that runs on an iPad. It took some time to learn how to do everything but it has a great deal of functionality. I’ve used it for engineering drawings, tool design and woodworking projects. It’s well worth the price.

Scam
A sudden upgrade, and ( without any warning) you suddenly are forced to suscribe or loose your work. They justify by selling you the upgrade leaving you no option to downgrade to previous version. Then one year passed without updates.... Brillant Scam !

I bought this app day 1 and now I Delete it
I purchased this app Day 1 many years ago. I used it occasionally. Sadly I had to delete it today because I can’t use an app I paid for anymore without being extorted. I will never buy an app on iOS ever again. Good riddance!
Great support
Great and immediate support from developer.
