Need origins
I'd like the origins of the idioms, other than that, it's great.
Needs an Update!
Great looking icon but the app needs an overhaul. "An ax to grind? The grass is always greener?" Incomplete list of idioms. Hope there's an update with new idioms and easier intuitive navigation. Should include an encyclopedia with historical stories behind the meaning of each idiom, like the other idiom app on here (blue n light blue face on the app.) The test are fine if the app were more complete.

I love this app; I just wish that each idiom would also display the origin. If this was included, I would most definitely rate it 5 stars.

I didn't like the 1.4 version , but now 1.5 is so awesome that you can actually learn in an easer way ,

Pretty cool app. Adds to your intellect. Has lots of good info what love most about this app? it has a quiz function! it randoms the questions every time you take the test. Very easy to use and most helpful app ever. Go ahead and get it if you are really want some good stuff to improve your writing skills using idioms. No regrets at all.

I really like the illustrations that accompany the explanations. It's a good app. What else can I say? Does exactly what it describes and very informative. useful for those needing to better understand idioms. Plus you will probably learn a pile of new things. Great app!

I m a high school teacher and i have this app on my iPhone and iPad also. This is a great app and will help my students a lot with the essays they have to write. English idioms are very interesting thing for learning. The most interesting collection of English idioms I have seen. Recommend this!

The reason I want an app of Idioms is because I love words, and my work is all about words. This app is deficient in a love for language.It has almost every american idiom or expression that you can think of!
