Can’t put photos by date taken on order
I like that the external hard drive can be used for more space on my iPad/iPhone since my iCloud & Dropbox app are full. I don’t want to have pay for more space for those two. I just wish with the external hard drive, when you load your photos & videos that it could put them in order by chronological date the photo was taken on instead of the backed up time. I wish it had the selection of to put them in order by date taken on also cause I like to put my photos in that order on my computer and all electronic devices so I have the most recent first. I don’t like that the only order choices are times, types & names.

Very Poor Drive
I cannot access my files in the app at all. It only backs up photos & videos. Will probably return if this isn’t fixed soon. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Especially considering the price.
I can’t figure out how to use this device and there are no instructions
When I open the app, I end up seeing two choices basically phone or I disk device. I don’t see any on the device only on my phone icon so I don’t think they transferred over. I can’t tell. There are no instructions.

ISSUE Major problem deleting empty folders. I have one whole folder full of pics and can’t delete any of it. Can’t force delete. Terminal delete says there is an error in the file name - a file I removed. Yes I have settings on PC set to show hidden files.

Move a folder with contents, it says that the folder no longer exists. I have to create a folder on my PC then move the contents over.

Won’t let me see my own files
I just noticed that the drive won’t let me access my own files on the app if I don’t let them to full access to my photos and Videos. What the hell?? You don’t need access my photos and videos in order to let me see my own files on iDiskk app.
Bye the way. You can Authenticate or use Face ID on your phone but when you use the drive on computer or laptop NO authentication. That was a while ago and I forgot to review about it. If you loose your drive anyone can access and privacy is in red flag. And the drive gets extremely hot in less than half hour any time I try to use the app.

This Whole Product Is Garbage
If you want to back up a large amount of photos this drive is slow and constantly has errors. Certain files won’t upload but it won’t show me what file it is so I don’t know what’s uploading & what is not. Have too many files (55,000 photos & video) to go through the lot & double check. Have a pet sitting/nanny business and wanted to back up my photos & video of all the dogs I care for. And the app is completely useless and is

Es el peor producto que eh comprado
Si borrabas las fotos de el teléfono se borraba de el disco ese , mientras más lo usabas peor se ponía llegó un momento en el que la app ya ni abría y el teléfono lo frisaba pensé que las críticas no eran tan malas pero wow
It can be better
The first time I got it, it was pretty good everything worked out but as I used it, it got worst, like rn I have a yt channel and I don’t edit good on computer but I play on computer so I use this to transfer the video to my phone so I can edit but it’s also messing up, I try to share it so I can have it in my photos but once I click it the blue line doesnt show up and I can’t click anything else, so I might I have to use a different app to transfer the video to my phone. Please fix your app, it isnt the best.

The 1.2.37 update froze my whole drive from playing movies. Thanks a lot 😡
Works but can lose your content.
I’ve lost images and videos for weird reasons with this before.

I love your app and device, being able to transfer my photos to the flash drive from my phone then transfer to my computer if so desire…however…
With the new update on 12/10/25 I can’t see what’s in the circles at the top. I tap on them to determine what they are. In different screens they are the back arrow, the “select all”, the “multi-select” etc. If I could upload a photo, I would show it more clearly.
Please have one more update to increase the contrast in the white circles at the top.

So many issues
App is constantly having issues, from crashing multiple times, not letting you upload anything onto it (my current issue), only one image being able to download at a time bc if you try to select more than that one 9/10 times it crashes or just doesn’t download them (so selecting multiples means nothing), to taking FOREVER to load the images.
If I had known what I did now about it, I wouldn’t have spent all the money on the external hard-drive, and definitely would’ve found a different brand.

Die App funktioniert überhaupt nicht zufriedenstellend!!! Bei der Bedienung passiert nichts. Man kann nicht auf den Stick zugreifen! iDiskk ist keine gute Sache. Man ärgert sich, weil es nicht zuverlässig funktioniert und das muss es. Bitte dringend nachbessern!!!!

Not user friendly
Spent hours trying to back up photos but back up icon not available! What is the point of this product if it claims to back up photos but back up feature is unavailable??!!
