About
An idle game about real particle physics. Fire the beam, catch the Higgs boson – and find particles that may not even exist.
You run a particle accelerator. Tap "Record event" in rhythm with the bunch crossings, make collisions, and turn data and particles into stronger magnets, better detectors and bigger rings. Soon the machine keeps colliding while you grab a coffee – even while the app is closed.
What to expect
• Timing with combos: hit the bright window on the timing bar for full data and a better chance at rare particles
• Every collision is drawn as an event display like in a real detector: tracks, calorimeter towers, missing energy
• 26 particles in a codex: 13 real ones from the Standard Model, from photon to top quark, and 13 hypothetical ones such as the axion, the magnetic monopole or the WIMP – in six rarity tiers from common to mythic
• Every captured event gets 7 measured values with percentiles and a verdict, from a quick note up to the Nobel Prize
• Build a career: publication list, citations, h-index and research grants
• Tune the beam onto a resonance such as the J/ψ or the Z and feel it lock in through haptic feedback
• Upgrade beam energy, luminosity, magnets and four detector layers – the detector grows shell by shell
• Seven rings in true scale: the 27 km LHC, the planned FCC, a continental ring, a ring around the Earth, the Moon's orbit, the Earth's orbit and finally the heliosphere
• A 60-second cinematic intro from the Big Bang to Geneva
Physics, honestly told
Real particles come with checkable facts. Everything that is only theory is clearly labelled hypothetical. Tap anything – detector parts, tracks or celestial bodies – and Professor Quark explains what you see, briefly and with dry humour.

Photo mode turns your finest collisions into a poster with a measurement log (mass, resolution, significance, pile-up and more) and its verdict.
Offline progress, no account, no data collected, reduced motion supported. Available in English, Deutsch, 简体中文, 日本語, 한국어, Español, Français, Português (Brasil) and Italiano.
Free to play at the LHC, ring 1, with all 13 real particles and no time limit. One optional one-time purchase unlocks rings 2–7 and all hypothetical candidates – no ads, no subscriptions, and particles are never for sale.
Collider is an independent project and is not affiliated with CERN.
