This is the Idle Game you’re looking for

I initially started playing Idle Obelisk Miner as a fun diversion after I heard about it on a podcast but it’s become my go to. Early on upgrades are plentiful and the app is generous with new features and ways to get freebies. I’ve spent maybe $7 on this game, but none of that was on scammy microtransactions or (god forbid) an additional fee to turn off ads. In fact, there are no annoying ads to be found. The online community has also been robust and helpful. Overall I think the game hits the sweet spot of an idle game where you ebb and flow between eking out a few more points to get past a certain progression gate and then flying through sections you once found maddening.

I’m at awe at how enjoyable this game is. The nigh endless yet rewarding progression has me hooked every step of way. A mobile game that isn’t bombarding me with ads is becoming an unpopular thing, so the relief I felt where I wasn’t flashed with AI sludge is appreciated.
