bots and new ownership are ruining the app
This app used to be fun. You used to be able to send home adopters, you use to be able to win competitions. They took away the feature to send adopters home, which really slows down game play and frustrates every player I’ve talked to. The game is also overrun with bots in the competitions so there is no way to win anymore. Even if you spend money on in app purchases you still can not beat the bots.

You have to pay thousands of dollars for an animal with some adoption fees on $50 which means you have to watch an absurd number of ads. Cute game, not worth it.

First, this game isn’t difficult to play at all. Paying for ad free is 100% the best thing to do, which I go into below.
Once upon a time, this game was awesome. But now they’re bringing “exciting changes,” which means they’re going to ruin the game for everyone. They’ve already started by removing an awesome feature that let us get rid of potential adopters that didn’t match the bonus needs of our adoptees. And, they don’t care. At all. Despite the fact that everyone hates this change.
Due to their cavalier attitude about this change, none of us can trust they won’t go further.
Many of us have paid for completely ad free. It’s one of the best things about the game. Zero ads. You can collect gems, money, cats, bonuses, etc WITHOUT watching ads if you’ve paid for ad free. We do not trust the devs to remove any part of this feature.
They refuse to go into detail about these “exciting changes” or give us any say through polls or questionnaires. Many of us have been playing this game for a long time, which means we’re going to be ignored to bring in new people and more money.
Avoid the game. All new players are about to get screwed over.

Newest update made the game worse
This will be a long and detailed review. I’ve been playing this game for close to a year. Before, it had some good features and even though I found the events repetitive, I enjoyed playing. I would’ve given it 4/5 stars before.
Now they’ve released a new update to this game (as of June 2026). The game is worse off than it was. They took away significant gameplay features like being able to send away potential adopters. Others on their discord page have expressed frustration over this feature - and to be honest, gameplay is now 5x more unenjoyable. In addition, they’ve refused for YEARS to add new shelters and new events to participate in either your teams. There are LOADS of suggestions about new events on their discord, but instead of adding newer features, they take some away.
I have contacted support about this issue multiple times. I got excuses about how this is an exciting part of their “rebalance.” Multiple people have complained, so to me, that’s not exciting. After asking how to request features be added back 3x, they replied that my suggestion would be sent to the dev team. To me, the tone of the message (and the fact it was only one sentence) felt like they were frustrated that I kept asking, but obviously I can’t know for sure.
A few things can be said; I am frustrated. Multiple people are frustrated. Taking away features without adding anything others have suggested for years is frustrating. This new update is utter trash and I hope they reverse some of their decisions. I want to love this game, but the lack of care from devs is off-putting.

There are too many cat rescues every time I try to upgrade something a cat 🐱 literally just shows up and is in danger and I HAVE TO HELP THEM.

Not enough shelters !! The developers need to make new shelters
Love this game love the concept ….BUT !!! After doing 4 shelters there are no new shelters and you are then. Stuck repeating the work you have already done which I feel is a waste of time and effort the developers need to create new shelters but I doubt that will happen as most of the reviews on here are for 3years + ago !! Don’t bother downloading this game you will be disappointed

Okay game
Cats are cute names and designs are cute but really not a fan of the change recently made where you can’t send visitors away. If they don’t match the cat’s personality I should be able to send them home. Game seems to be trying to get users to watch ads more often using the reroll for video option.
Not enough money for the shelter
I love this game so far and I just downloaded it, but one thing that’s making me a little angry is that stuff for the shelter is so expensive and I can’t buy anything or I’ll have no money. I’ll treat the cats, but then my money is gone.

I really do enjoy the game I don’t have many complaints but I love playing the cat cafe events and things like that and they only last for 3 days. I would like if they lasted at least a week I’m employed and it’s hard to keep up sometimes. Other than that the game isn’t bad!

You guys can literally buy the ad free thing to remove ALL THE ADS. For everything. No watching ads for gems, coins, boosts, nothing. All the stuff you buy, you only have to buy ONCE.

Why isn’t there a restaurant location? Or a movie theater? Or a park? Or an actual cat cafe? Or a beach? And I don’t mean the locations that have a beach on them, I’m mean an actual setting with cats on a beach.
Why aren’t there more outfits? Bathing suits, snow gear, robes and towels, dresses, tuxedos, etc. There are so many ideas, and yet, many of us have over 150 chef outfits. And the outfits serve absolutely no purpose other than to make the cats look cute.
Why can’t the adopters request a certain outfit AND the traits?
Why are the holiday events just clicking on random decorations outside? Why aren’t there seasonal locations? Or holiday specific locations? It’s the same four locations, which gets boring.
We need more events than the same three over and over. Even they’re boring.
