User reviews

Don't bother

This app is too buggy to use.

Response from developer

Sorry for any inconveniences. Please use iDocSetHelper to upload your docsets from mac.

The best docset viewer on the App Store

It works perfectly, and unlike similar apps, it is updated frequently, and it is compatible with iOS 8 and OS X 10.10 docsets. The idocsethelper app makes uploading the various docsets very simple. All in all, it's excellent.

import broke

only works with builtin docset which is for idocset making the program worthless. i cannot get it to recognize any other docset i have tried.

Imported all docs from Dash

I managed to transfer all my docsets that I had on Dash to this, with the exception of the man pages.

Good, but...

Could be so much better. As it stands it is better than DocSetViewer,as it can import from your OSX machine the Dash docsets, which for me is significant - I can now have ready offline a wide variety of disparate sdk apis.
But - the browser panel needs to be maximisable - might sound picky, but you try reading some of these pages in a panel not much more than half the width of the ipad screen. Should be easy to make happen - lots of other apps do this. Come one dev - then I can give the app the deserved 5 stars!

Oh - and make the left hand panel handle longer text items better - at the moment they get truncated/not displayed, beyond a certain number of chars.
