Great job

This app has great audio. It also implements an approach to learning that is effective.

FANTASTIC

Very useful

This version works great. It's been difficult to find a good original languages flashcard type program. This one is quite good.

Excellent Tool

I love this app. I use it to practice Hebrew and Greek vocabulary. The vocabulary sets are a good value, and it is very usable.
There are occasional bugs, but if you email them, they will fix it, and the overall value and simplicity is such that I still give it 5 stars.

I almost like it

The audio files are not really clear, I would like it if it included an English phonetic spelling. For that reason I will probably use the app until I learn the free stuff but will not ever buy more. Above all that, feel it needs work to make it more appealing.

FAQ

What is iDoms Vocab?

iDoms Vocab is a vocabulary training application designed to help users learn new words through a system of repetition and automatic progress tracking. It uses a point system to gauge how well you know a word, adjusting review frequency accordingly. The app supports learning Greek, Biblical Hebrew, and Latin, and allows users to create their own custom vocabulary lists.

What languages does iDoms Vocab support?

The app currently supports vocabulary training for Greek (first 300 words with audio), Biblical Hebrew (first 300 words with audio), and Latin (extracted from the Summa Theologiae). Users can also create their own custom lists for any subject.

How does the app track my progress?

The app utilizes a point system to register how well you know each word. Words you know well are reviewed less frequently, while new words are added to exercises as you master existing ones. This ensures efficient repetition and learning.

Is iDoms Vocab free to use?

The first 50 words are available for free to test the app. After that, vocabulary sets can be purchased through in-app purchases. An in-app upgrade is also available to create your own vocabulary lists.

Can I use iDoms Vocab on multiple devices?

Yes, you can use the app on multiple devices. If you have made purchases, you can use the 'restore purchase' function, found at the bottom of the list with vocabulary sets, to access your purchased content on other devices without being charged again.
