Do not buy - no longer updated

I just found this app and was excited to start using it with my toddler. I bought it and it will not work. Nothing loads. My phone is running the latest iOS, I’ve restarted my phone. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Nothing can get it working. Disappointed.

Doesn’t work at all.

Doesn’t work

This terrific app no longer loads! Please fix! Thanks

Excellent app for my developmentally disabled adult son. He glommed right on to it and is no longer layering clothing. Amazing.

Good for special needs and children

This app is good and simple it shows the weather in a simple way for children and special needs adults or special needs children. It shows what to wear during the weather. It also has an option for advanced descriptions with winds and humidity. It’s a very good app I like it a lot. Highly recommended

Bases Clothing Only on Daily High

The app shows the current temperature as 56 degrees with a high of 76. Its suggesting clothes for the “warm” category (sandals, t-shirt, shorts).

Also, I tried to customize the temperature levels. Initially, it worked, but as soon as I closed and we-opened the app, the levels were wonky (not what I put in and not the default).

Needs improvement

Great to show developmentally disabled adults how to dress. But when you change from winter trees to summer, you have to keep tapping it numerous times to get it to switch back. The winter trees are scary for kids. Reminds me of the haunted forest in the Wizard of Oz. Would suggest more friendly theme like a snowman in foreground.

Very Cute Weather

Thumb up 👍

Need to bring it back to the old days

You all might not listen to this but I do love the app and the way it shows what type of clothes we wear but it doesn't update like it use to also it doesn't take the wind chill and heat index into account for picking what type of clothing we should wear I think it's time for me to move on with this app and not worry about this app anymore sorry

Response from developer

Thank you for giving us this feedback. We will take your idea about heat index and wind chill into our discussions for future updates. We understand how those factors can certainly effect clothing choices. Thanks for your suggestion.

rocks it!

The weather is back-but now nothing is in the closet and I can't adjust the settings!

Not updated, not fixed.

As a paid app, billed as assistive tech, the fact that it hasn't been updated for over a year simply isn't good enough. If you know it's not working, why haven't you fixed it?
Unless you're planning on refunding everyone who has paid for this and is unable to use it...

Need improvement

I like this App, the screen looks simple and not busy. Very easy to understand. It helps my son to understand how to wear for the weather.

I like that I can customize the closet. But I would like to have a library of clothing I can pick or import from google images. Then the selected clothing will be on the hangers.

If it is possible, I love to have multiple pictures in the closet and allow to put pant, shirt, shoes in one screen shot.

I also wish that I can takes out the dress in the closet.

Very disappointing

I thought this was going to be something too help my toddler understand appropriate dress for outdoor play. Not only is it not an activity app, it is just plain boring. I would love my money back.

Meh

I thought this app was more interactive for my Special Needs kids who need to understand the differences in temperature and what to wear. If the app will strive to change and offer a more visually stimulating 'game' per se, then it would be worth the money spent. Just showing the temperature up and what to wear isn't enough.

Disappointed

I thought this would teach my students to pick clothes to match temperature. I love the visuals and the vibrancy. I just wish it did more. Sure it shows the temp and what they should wear. Some being able to pick the clothes and the app giving feedback if choices are right or wrong would be so much better.

Ok

I agree with faeriefyre in that it could do with being able to take photos of own clothes and categorising to make it a bit more personal. Otherwise it is ok.

Update

This program is definitely a must for families with young kids!!!! Just keeps getting better!!! Our children dressed up clothing that would match possible weather(but boys wore mom clothing and girl wore boy clothing) and we put them in the closets. They continue to think it is hilarious when they check weather and see themselves every morning. No need to request jackets...I just remind them to check their iPod! Thank you for creating such an amazing program.

Great weather app

Beautiful artwork, and I can quickly see before getting out of bed what the current weather is and what to expect for the day. I really appreciate the customization possible on this app. You can change the temperature ranges to fit your definition of warm, cold, etc. You can also upload pictures of your own clothing. Beautiful artwork! I can quickly see the current weather conditions and the high temperature for the day. Well done!
