Altitude entry slider bar is idiotic. The instructions are almost useless. As an example. The instructions constantly refer to the “settings” when their is no way to access the settings. If you can use another program. Installing program is a massive hassle.
Lacks Attention to Detail
The FL selector should mirror the date and time selector. Why would it be an annoying bar that scrolls left and right with a plus and minus set of buttons versus the scroll wheel that the time and date use? It makes it difficult to get an exact flight level and wastes time to hit extra buttons to ensure accuracy. The entire app is awful to look at. I’m using an iPad 10” and there’s so much real estate left over because of the small font in the app. The multiple colors of the buttons is annoying as well. Standardize the capitalization of the aircraft input selections. Why would Engine Bleed or Engine Intake have the first letter capitalized but Oil pressure, Oil temp, Total hours and the other ones not have ALL the first letters like that? Lacks attention to detail. Hopefully the engine trend monitoring reports are not of this caliber.

Could be better
Needs to be in a 24 hr format for the date selection tab. We're pilots, why this was not done in the first place is beyond my understanding. Give us the option in the app settings or base the time on the ipad's internal settings like most apps do. A Now button in this tab would also be helpful but not required.

Thanks for allowing ECS/ACU to be able to be defaulted on.
How about allowing us to rearrange the order of the gauge stack to reflect the a/c we are recording (it will help minimize transposition errors)?
Can we dispense with the splash/help screen every time?
