It does not work

My hopes was to use this to program the Gulfstream 550/650 in XPlane 12. Unfortunately, it did not work and I’m requesting a refund.

Not working with FS2020 and ZERO support

It does not submit data to FS 2020; tried pmdg and Bredok3d’s version of the 737-800. Zero success. Reached out to the developer and got zero response.
This is a fraudulent listing for an abandoned, not working software.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!!!

iFMS

Absolute must have for flight sim, works great on MSFS 2020(beta) no impact on graphics card and I’m using 5 iPads great for inexpensive screens 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

If only the developer cared about it

This app could be so much better. There are many use cases this app can cover. Especially at a time when flight simulator are thriving. But here we have a pretty old still okay app that cannot hide its time ( probably created when older with much lower resolution). UI is 🤷🏾‍♂️… the only good news is that it’s still working even with all it flaws. It’s just need someone to care and update it.

Airbus?

This app is amazing no need to look in the virtual cockpit! Any chance you can do an airbus style? Would be great if you can.

I need help with this

I like this app very much but from my understanding for X-Plane 11 is that if you insert anything into the iFMS fmc it won’t appear on the mfd or fmc in game, I would love to know if there is a fix or if that’s how it is.

Refund

Can I have a refund please. I’m not impressed with this app at all.

Great support and a great product!

I humbly revise my review. My first review was harsh due to my frustration and impatience. But Michael responded with clear instructions and understanding. He took the responsibility to help me and has turned me into a fan for life! Thank you so much and thank you for a great app!

iFMS

I downloaded iFMS and have been very pleased with its functionality. I use iFMS
with FS2004 (FS9) and the moving map is smooth and I find the missed-approach
procedures very handy for FS9. The developer has been very helpful and I would
highly recommend this product for anyone wanting an FMS for FS9 or FSX or Prepar3d.

Worked perfectly for X-Plane with Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS (Bionic Beaver)

Hi! Thanks so much for your help!!! iFMS Linux version you sent me worked perfectly!!! You don’t need to refund at all! Could you please delete my previous review cause I couldn’t delete it myself! Please!!!

Will not connect to PMDG 777

Don’t bother if you are hoping to connect to the PMDG 777. The PFD has some connectivity ie, speed, height and horizon but no vspeeds or flight director, autopilot annunciation..the nav page shows heading but no route or waypoints and the fmc does not sync at all.

Unrealistic

Does not have the pages of a 777 FMS . Displays do not work as expected. Disappointing ..

Response from developer

Hi, The FMC in iFMS is largely based on the older ones found in the 747/757/767's. These are also the most "generic" and can be used with most aircraft. Currently I am also working on a 737NG layout because of the popularity of this airplane especially with simmers. This will be available in a later update. Regards, Michael

??

I fly a 767 and bought this for FMS review. I don't use it on a flight sim game because I just want to practice route change scenarios.
Looks good, but after the flight plan is entered, the modification inputs act nothing like the real FMS. Also, I cannot get the airplane "in the air" and there are no instructions or any type user manual that I can find.

Hi, As discussed through email, indeed you can use iFMS for "pre-flight training" in stand-alone mode but you cannot get it "in the air" without having it connected to a flight sim as you correctly state here. iFMS is after all and first of all a flight sim add-on. Regards, Michael

Couldn't get it to work with X-Plane 11

I had hopes for this one. But it didn't work with my x-plane 11. Tried it with the default 737, with payware. Once connected the heading starts to spin like crazy and never stops. Everything else just didn't work at all. And on their website it says that we shouldn't
use it with the sophisticated airplanes like PMDG with very realistic a fmc. So what's the point in this app then?

Will ask for a refund

Can you contact me offline regarding the issues you're having connecting to X-Plane? this sounds like a network issue and should be resolvable. Regarding PMDG: Generally it is not advised to use iFMS in combination with aircraft that already have a complex FMC system of their own, such as PMDG or Level-D aircraft. The FMC's won't sync and it tends to lead to conflicts with both trying to control the MCP to fly the aircraft. iFMS contains a complete FMC with LNAV/VNAV system on its own, and it is therefore much more useful in combination with standard/add-on aircraft that don't already have these systems included, like the default 737-800 in FSX for example. If you're after a way of programming the FMC already present in aircraft such as PMDG aircraft, you might want to have a look at apps like "VirtualCDU", "AirFMC" or "TabletFMC". These apps are not an FMC on their own, like the one iFMS contains, but they provide you with a "portal" to program the FMC of add-ons like PMDG, Level-D etc. from your tablet/phone. This is actually a very different thing altogether. Regards, Michael

Keeps crashing....

Keeps continuously crashing...And have been struggling to find how to delete flight plans...
Disappointed...

A must have add on

Wow! It transforms the bundled planes into a plane with a fully programmable flight management computer, just like the ones you have to pay fortunes for. Get it now before they realise how underpriced it is. Instead of buying lots of modules, with an iPad and smart phone you can have your information displayed in front of you. It can be preprogrammed away from the computer and linked when you are ready to fly. I have not explored all the features yet but I am sure I will not be disappointed.

Revelatory!

After longing for a functional FMC for a long time (for freeware aircraft and to emulate certain unaffordable payware planes) this app was like waking from a long nightmare.

I wish that certain functions were slightly more intuitive, but those aren't enough of an obstacle to detract from the 5-star rating. At $13, a little fussing at first is fair enough when it works so well, and one should fool around with new toys before taking them on VATSIM anyway.

Top notch work. The hole left by vasFMC has been filled.

Great Support

This app is fun. Got an old spare smartphone? Use it as an extra display perfectly tied into your simulator. Love using the video monitor to view x-plane beautifully rendered view and have all critical aircraft display on my iPad and my iPhone. I had a little trouble starting up but quick and competent support got me running. Turned out this software was fine but my aircraft blocked auto pilot initiation. My other aircraft work seamlessly. So easy to program FMC with iPad! They have a great little utility to convert your existing flight plans.

Avoid if using x-plane 10

The plug-in knocked out my yoke and rudder pedals. Plus any input from the app never did show up on the x-plane FMS even though it showed as connected.
