iFretless Bass doesn’t work with iOS26 when using AUM
No support.
Nothing ruins an app quicker than no support. Cool app, great sound but when you save presets in Loopy Pro they save but they don’t change when recalled. Have to hold the gear icon and wait for a countdown then choose preset you want. Multiple inquiries to support with zero response.
DSP usage too high
Maxed out My iPadPro 6th DSP usage…
I am running it in AUM and none of my apps use much DSP… I added iFretless bass and now my DSP is tapping out over 100%…. Disappointing because I love the sound

I Looove this app, the tone is SIK, It’s accessible and cuts. About the best bass sim I’ve ever seen. I’d give it 10$tars
Tremendous as a MPE midi controller…!
…for both iOS and MacOS apps and software. I use it to control orange tree samples virtual guitars. It allows me to play those guitars with many types of articulations, especially hammer ons, independent slides and bends per string, harmonics, and more! It’s like having a linnstrument! It’s great for controlling Pianoteq’s guitar. Be sure to set both apps up for MPE-like capabilities. You can use the iFretless factory tones too. This is a great instrument overall!

Hands down best sounding and MOST REALISTIC sounding bass in the App Store for sure. And the adjustable parameters are essential and perfect to dial in your preferred sound. I’d be stuck buying a bass had it not be for this app since I do more metal core screamo post-hardcore music. You can actually get some good string sounds…it’s perfect in every way and is a must have for anyone who needs realistic bass sounds

A Fun to Play Instrument from a Great Developer
The sounds are good, the AUv3 integration is handy, and the playing UI is remarkably easy to pick up and fun to play for me as a bass player. The developer is very responsive when issues pop up and the app is well-supported. If you’re looking to add electric bass sounds to your projects on iOS, this is a must-have!

Does not work in Logic Pro on iOS
I was really looking forward to using this with Logic Pro on the iOS - however, it seems that is not currently supported.
Would love for the developers to make it functional on Logic Pro. Will have to play around with it on GarageBand for now. Thank you!!

Have you tested this on an M1 Mac?
Please try to fix iFretless Bass so this can be reliably used as an AU on desktop for GarageBand and Logic Pro. It's a great sounding Bass but crashing issues and incompatibilities with macOS Sonoma have made use of iFretless apps on desktop impossible for now. Thank you.

I love the app. I use it with my midi keyboard controller. I wish it can get the low Bb note like bass players who turn their instruments down 1/2 step on their 5 string basses

Franchement, je vous la conseille ainsi que toutes celles conçues par ce développeur, saxe, cuivres. Guitare je la joue moi-même alors pas besoin. Je mettrai même 6 étoiles.

A truly great instrument which sounds extremely authentic and is fun to play. My only criticism is this. Why that annoying string buzz on bottom E. Yes I’m sure it’s for authenticity but it’s unnecessary.
I particularly like the hard finger fret style but it’s ruined by this.
Turn down the velocity control I hear you say,,,but then the hard style is lost.
Please remove it in an update or is there a secret trick ?
