App lets down otherwise rich content
Whoever designed this app should improve it - or offer refunds. The app always restarts on the home page - just one of many design flaws. The content is 5 stars, the functionality makes you want to give up. Hence 2*. A great shame.
Very Good
After spending a couple of years teaching myself Spanish and learning about Spanish grammar, I started to become interested in English grammar. This app has been very useful in my quest for knowledge.

This app is great for general reference. It is very easy to use and the quizzes are well designed.

I think a lot of work has gone into this app but the exercises are lousy - really lousy. The examples in the exercises are often much more complicated than the previous discussion and this makes them pretty discouraging for students trying to get a grasp on grammar. I wish UCL would just fix the examples in the exercises so that I could recommend this app to my students.

Brilliant app, the only problem is it don't save the last page you were on...it keeps going back to the beginning and its frustrating. It doesn't have a copy and paste function and it would really go a long way if it had a voice feature.

Finally, a team of modern linguists have created the closest thing to a grammar possible, current with the state of research. Full of useful descriptions and models.

Just as good as the website with useful extra features. Price should've been a bit less, though.
Everything is good. But the price is the problem
This app is good for the people who is not good at construct their grammar and things. Which is good for me! I am glad that I got the app! But if anyone else wants to get this and they are not willing to pay for that much money for the app then. It will be a pity I no one get to use this good app coz of this reason. Do consider!!

Excellent way to learn grammar
It's great to have an English grammar in your pocket. It could be a course if you want that. For me the glossary is an excellent resource with the exercises to check you've understood. Will be using it often. Like the colourful look too.
Fantastic grammar app
A really excellent app. I'm an English teacher and it is helping me to clarify some of my grammar skills and giving me ideas for teaching to students as it is so clear, straightforward and well explained, without being at all patronising. Definitely worth full purchase.
