Simple, invaluable tool

So helpful for deepening your emotional vocabulary

SO HELPFUL TALKING TO MY MOM!!

Whenever my mom and I are on the phone, I pull up iGROK. She lives alone now that my father is gone and I think she's pretty lonely without him. She seems to melt when I take my time to connect with her, using reflective listening and guessing what she is feeling and what needs she might have. The interesting thing is once she connects to her needs, she can often find solutions and strategies to meet those needs. I'm so happy to have found this app. It's helped me become a better daughter and more effective listener.

So helpful!

I love the simple elegance of this app. I am others-oriented (an Enneagram 2) and need support identifying my emotions/needs. This app has been so helpful.

Simple app

This app hasn't been updated in years. It's just a list of feelings and needs. Nothing more. It costing money makes it inaccessible to those who can't afford it. Make it free.

Update!

I don’t but many apps and it bothers me that it hasn’t been updated. I use this with loved ones and the students in my classroom.
