Ijambo: Learn Kinyarwanda

Ijambo teaches you Kinyarwanda, the language of Rwanda, through a story instead of a list of rules. You go to Rwanda to stay with your great-aunt Phoebe. Each lesson follows your trip, from your first greetings to the market, everyday life in Kigali, the journey to Musanze and the climb towards Karisimbi. You learn the words and sentences you would actually need, in the situations where you would need them. WHAT YOU GET • Short lessons that mix a story, new words, and exercises: multiple choice, typing, building sentences, matching pairs • Word breakdowns that show how Kinyarwanda words are built, so new words become easier to guess • Vocabulary review with flashcards, in either direction (Kinyarwanda to your language, or the reverse). Mark the words you know and they leave the deck • Reviews and tests at the end of each part • Lessons and interface in English and French: switch at any time • Letters and reading passages to read, some with music PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no sign-up • No advertising, no tracking • Your progress stays on your device. A save code lets you move it to another device PRICING Part 1 is free. Parts 2, 3 and 4 (the rest of the story, with reviews, part tests and the final reading) require a paid subscription, monthly or yearly. The prices are shown in the app before you subscribe and depend on your country. It renews automatically every month or every year, depending on your plan, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your account settings. Uninstalling the app does not cancel it.
