Ikconect wireless alarm with wireless camera
My first impression was the price for what package you are receiving .
Which included dog detectors x6 also alarm digital pad plus alarm bell and fobs x2 and door bell also panic alarm .. all was fairly easy to install with minor blips on install but all went ok? Following instructions to install all Wireless items ‘no problem’…. Until we came to outside alarm bell ! Connect as per instructions and then install on outside wall according to instructions .. so happy at this moment has all items I needed to install are working , I.e .. main pad and pir’s also alarm bell plus 2x door dectors by the way ! When for no reason the alarm went off ???… it was showing alarm bell outside basically …after extensive work to find reason for faulting I believed it may have been distance from the main router and key pad so I lowered the alarm bell on the outside wall thinking it was to far away yet this at first was only 8ft away from router and key pad, yet when install wireless camera no problem and this is much further away from the router for wireless connection? Camera by the way has been great!
So Strange ?so anyway, I proceeded to lower alarm on external wall by 4ft , now this is only 8 ft off the ground now, yet still got the problem,
it keep disconnecting from from my router yet the router works great has I’ve other wireless item’s connected I.e tv’s .. so I then also I’d thought I will test theses dog pir detectors, has I have a lovely chocolate Labrador, only to also find when out, my dog was triggering the pir’s in all areas down stairs when out of the house ?has I’ve the app feature that informs you of any alarm triggering…
So now, I’ve an external bell wireless issue (fault) and the dog safe pir’s are useless? And I’ve 4 out of the 6 pir’s installed .. so I tried to contact ‘Ikconect’ ,via messages, where I purchased it from on few occasions yet no response .. so annoyed .. best part of £ 400.00 pounds and nothing works has advertised .. I will let you make up your minds whatever this is an investment or not .. but unfortunately not for me! Still to date ‘no reply’ .. and it’s been months now.. !
