Makes learning the states fun
We have offices all over the United States but I was having a hard times figuring out where all the offices are. After using this app, I'm able to point not only to the right area but know one states from another. The best way is to remember the shape of the state. I love this app.
Really fun! For Adults too!
I used to really enjoy my kids' leapfrog United States geography game, and was looking for something like it, so I could toss that old toy! This is similar but way better, and with lots more options. I love that you can tap the states and learn first, then graduate to the game, but with unlimited time, if you want it that way. And THEN move on to the timed race when you are ready. Well worth the price of admission.

Perfect!
This is exactly what my 5th grader needed. There are lots of options for practice and testing. I love that there is even a place to learn facts about each state. We even competed with each other to see who could get the best score in the game. Totally worth the money!!
Needs some work
My son uses this app to learn all of his states. So far it has worked well. However now he is to the point where he needs to study all 50 at once and when we try to get into game mode it closes the app down. Please please fix this!!! I love that he can play games to learn the things he needs to know. This app has been great up until this point. We need game mode back though!!

Timer is horrible
When this app was first premiered, my son got a 100 on his state test the next day. I was showing it to everyone at his school. But now, they are revisiting it, and with the several updates it has gotten, the game mode forces him to a 2 minute limit. This should be adjustable. My son doesn't have this limit in his class. In his rush to accomplish it, he is making errors. With me allowing him unlimited time, (I told him not to worry about how many he got-just try for no errors), he got 31. Locking me into 2 minutes is a horrible choice.

Great app
Love that this app speaks the state names for children not yet reading. You can also set it to only test as many or as few states as you want. That is great for not making your child feel overwhelmed with so many to remember at once. Great app!
Perfect app for all ages
I originally downloaded this app to help my 4th grader learn all 50 states and fell in love with app myself. It lets you know the name of the states if you select the incorrect one and it also let you know how many you got correct in x amount of attempts. This is perfect app for all ages!
Wow! Great Learning Tool
We downloaded this app to help my grandson learn his states for school. He knew about 15 when he started. After about 4 hours over 3 days, he knew them all. I definitely recommend this app.
Worth the dollar or two extra vs free :)
I played it free first and then after getting the same states over and over, I went ahead and bought it. I Love all the extra features to learn about the states. Thanks! I'm hoping it has a capital game too, I need to keep exploring the settings.
A Few Tweaks
I am using this as a reinforcement tool in our homeschool curriculum for our 3rd grader & 4th grader. I really like it but would suggest a few tweaks. In the game and test mode, it would be nice if the states or capitals that were identified correctly would change color, thus limiting the options as you went along. Also, there should be a skip option that could register as an incorrect answer but would allow the player to move on in game or test mode. Other than that, the app is educational and enjoyable!

Learn States & Capitals Fast!
Great! Even an adult like me learned states & capitals fast! In next upgrade, use full screen. If ME and FL touch screen corners, and CA touches screen edge, all states will be bigger & easier to see & touch, especially NE states. In next upgrade, use portrait mode to divide US into 3 sections: East, Central, & West - all states will be about 3x larger, & learners can see better & focus on smaller areas at first. In next upgrade, use 5 color map & bright red stars for capitals to aid viewing.

I love this app it is amazing I got it for a final test the day before I got it.
I learned all my states in one day not knowing any!
This is really good for learning your states.
My dad wants them to make Ilearn world map
I'm on an iPad but the states in the northeast are really small it would help if they were bigger

Love it!
I love this app. A few suggestion. It would be nice if the name appear on the state as you get them right so we can fill up the map as we go. Also, the volume is low, and does not respond to volume on iPad.
Pretty good
This app does the trick for working on learning the state locations and the capitals. It is no frills-drill and practice. Found it frustrating that only 8 of the 9 states I selected are pinned. This happened on both ipads that I installed the app on. It left the pin off of Maine on both. We are learning one section of the country at a time. I like being able to only select those states for review.

Love this!
This kept me from failing world geography in COLLEGE! Yes, I am a college student playing this game. I never took a geography class before until now and didn't realize how ignorant I was to it. This game provides instant reinforcement. I do kind of wish it would label the state after you get it right to provide more reinforcement ... It helps with eliminating possibilities because even though I know what state the is I touched, I still might touch it for one that I don't know because I'm just guessing. If it would be labeled after I got it right I could say to myself "oh that's no Montana, that's Idaho!" and it would challenge me to think more.

Just okay
I thought it was great to be able to isolate states. Until I tried it and selected New York along with others. We get quizzed on it but there's no pin pointing to it. Also the graphic is so small on iPhone its hard to tell where pins lead to. Great idea just not what I hoped for.
Love it!
GREAT, GREAT, GREAT app for studying the states with my children. They Ace every test after sitting with the app a little while. They use it willingly since its fun. They like trying to beat their previous score in "Game" section.
Great app
A great app that helps my fourth grader learn where states are. I'm able to go to the Settings and just check only the states i want my son tested on which is a bonus! The app gives other necessary information if needed such as state nicknames and capitals but those aren't part of the tests. If capitals could be part of this test, this would be the perfect app.

Great app
This is a great way it learn the states. Since sound has been added, my 5 year old granddaughter loves to play. She thinks she is just playing a game but is quickly learning to identify the states.
Great app - Needs audio
I really like this app, and it has really helped my son learn his states for school.
Only one thing that I would like see added to this for younger children would be the addition of audio where it says the names of the states. Then this app would be supper.
