The App a Sheep Farmer Can’t Live Without
I have got 3 shepherds, loads of devices, 4,500 breeding ewes, a 3 way autodrafter, 4 EID Readers and 2 eWeighs. All connected to and running through this app. I do it all with ILivestock. Support is great. This is what you need. Don’t bother with anything else.

We invested in this in 2021. Took a bit of stress moving everyone onto it but now life is so much simpler. Ok maybe not simpler but more up to date and easier to log. Would entirely recommend it and the support system is excellent!

Been using iLivestock since it first came out. Awesome app always being updated and makes farm admin a breeze
Avoid avoid avoid
Avoid at all costs, honestly just buy anything but this, a pen and paper would be more effective. I persisted for years with constant bugs and promises of fixes but nothing came of it. Countless losses of data through sync issues, bad layout of the web hub. They keep adding new features without fixing the fundamentals of the app. They as for feedback and then ignore it completely. They have lost huge amounts of important compliance data, god forbid I get an inspection with the state my data is in.
Just get anything but this.

Ive used this app for over six months now, so heres my review. Altogether it is very helpful and so nice to just have to carry my phone around with me when im working on livestock instead of trying to keep track of a notebook, clipboard and pen and shouting from one person to another to pass information from the person on the ground with the animals to the person doing the note taking. This makes it much easier to just tap a flag or other marker on the app to denote info. The app can be a little tricky to navigate, and frequently has some odd bugs, but theiLivestock support team and customer service is fantastic. They are very pleasant and easy to talk to and always respond quickly! They are very actively working on fixing these bugs and issues, so in my opinion it is worth it and i cant wait to see how it works when they get everything figured out.

Crashes instantly
Was looking forward to trying our iLivestock but haven't even been able to open it. Just crashes every time.

We have used ilivestock for over 2 years.It is used almost daily for all aspects of flock and herd management and recording with the unique ability to access and add details manually or by linking to the allflex stick reader.It allows all compliance details from recording births,deaths,movements,tagging details and medicine book as well as breeding details and weight gains to be recorded quickly and easily.With the added security of the backup service and great tech support,ilivestock has now become an integral part of our livestock business,I cannot recommend highly enough!!!!!

Poor support
I've sent two email requests to them inquiring about some of their features. No response except an automated acknowledgement that they got it, in over three weeks. If they won't answer emails now to help sell their product, I'm certain they won't later if I really needed help.

I'm trialling this App at present. So far it seems good. It's an advantage that you can import data from excel. I was able to input my flock data using the templates. So far so good. there's a dearth of decent Apps for iOS on EID & livestock. Pity it doesn't work with APHIS though.
The app is improving all the time
A little problem I have found is when your trying to medicate you can't do decimal points. I tried to medicate a lamb and I have to give it 0.6ml but I can't record it.

We have been using this along side our paperwork for a couple of weeks. It is very simple to use and after downloading our animals
from BCMS it makes you realise how much easier than paper the app is to look after 400+ cattle. I want to get a bit more familiar with it before relying on it for all our records. It does everything you need, a query was responded to within a couple of hours from the support team.

Just discovered what looks like a really good new app. Very useful to have all your animal records on your phone in your pocket, which means you always have them with you. It also has a cleaver feature allowing you to connect to an Allflex stick reader via Bluetooth. You can then read Eid tags in your sheep or cattle and electronically create their records on the application. Really useful for creating movement or even vet & med records. All good stuff :)

On downloading ilivestock am very impressed with the start up tutorial that is shown when first opening it!! It's bare bones understandable that only takes a minute to flick through but shows me how to set up my holdings, vehicles, & medicines.
I have a a new Allflex RS420 stick reader that can be synced with this app. Had no issues doing this or reading the tags!!
