Forbidden
Tried signing up, but all I got was “Forbidden #403”. One star is too high of a rating.
App doesn’t work
This app doesn’t work. It only gives you option to login. And when you try to signup, it’s say Page forbidden. There is no way to skip that part as well. Useless app.
The reviews aren’t lying
I never write reviews but I just tried this and literally couldn’t even get the app started. Basically paid $30 for a red light bulb b/c I can’t even start the app to change the colors. 1.9 stars is too high

On the apps page, it says that it works on this phone. When I scan the QR code, it says “this device is not supported by this app. This is a waste of money and time.
Does not connect to sensor
No matter how many times I try to follow the steps it does not connect to the device it takes way too long to pair and it gives the same connection time out every single time. I can see why it’s a 1.9 star rating GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Waste of time!?

This app and product is absolute trash and I would give it 0 stars if I could, I bought the bulb, screwed it in downloaded the app and then when I was signing up the verification code would not send I checked my junk, my service and made sure that I was putting in the right email address multiple times and none of it worked. I strongly do not suggest this app or it’s product.

Such a waste of money a time
Spent 30 dollars on a multi color lightbulb just to find out I had to register and account first before you are able to access it... 30 minutes later after they sent the confirmation email, I logged into my account and found out that my device is not supported? I have the brand new iPhone X with the latest update so I’m not sure what kind of advanced stuff they expect you to have to be able to use a lightbulb. Back in the day it wad screwing it in and flicking the switch, now you gotta create an account, connect it to wifi, connect it to Bluetooth, and scan a qr code. I don’t even know how a lightbulb is even capable of that. This thing must be sucking up my electricity bill for all that.

Illumina isn’t compatible with any devices, MG light worked immediately, without doing anything to it!!!
If the bulb is not pairing
Download the app MG light, it should pair directly with your lightbulb.

Guys I found the solution so when you download the app you know when you scan the code on the bottom it’ll give u like a website so copy and paste that to safari or whatever u have then it’ll show up!

I purchased a sharper image WiFi bulb and downloaded this app per instructions. But the app says it does not support the bulb. I don’t know how this is possible since this is the app per the qr code. I will be returning the bulb, since the color features cannot be used without an app.
