Knowing that the people you love are ok shouldn't be a source of worry or another thing on your to-do list. ILY is a daily phone-based wellbeing check-in service for elderly people living at home. At a scheduled time each day, ILY calls the nominated person's phone - mobile or landline - conducts a natural conversation, and delivers any reminders set by the family or carer, such as medication or appointment prompts. After each call, a short summary of the conversation is sent to nominated family members and carers, covering the person's mood, health mentions, and anything worth following up on. Over time, ILY builds a longitudinal picture of the person's wellbeing, surfacing changes in health, mood, and engagement that may be difficult to detect from a single call. No new device, application, or technical knowledge is required by the person receiving calls.
