IMAC Global is the member app of the International Ministerial Alliance of Churches (IMAC Global UK), a Christ-centred alliance of churches and ministers with its home in Romford, London and member churches across 32 nations. It exists to keep you close to the life of the alliance between Sundays. Events and tickets, the daily devotional, the prayer wall, teaching, IMAC TV and your membership card are gathered in one place, so you are never hunting for a link or an old email. WHAT YOU CAN DO Events and tickets Browse gatherings, conferences and services, save the ones you are interested in, and reserve your place. Your ticket stays in the app with a QR code ready to be scanned at the door. Add an event to your calendar or open directions to the venue in a tap, and the app will remind you about an hour before it begins. IMAC TV Watch services, teaching, worship and the special gatherings the whole alliance shares, streamed live from IMAC to wherever you are. If you would like to know the moment a broadcast begins, switch live alerts on in your profile, and switch them off again whenever you wish. The daily devotional A short reading with the day's verse, and the devotionals of past days kept so you can return to one. If you want it, a gentle reminder brings a verse to you each morning. The prayer wall Share what you are carrying and let the family pray with you. Post in your own name, post anonymously, or keep a request private so that only the ministry team sees it. Tap to pray for someone else's request and they will see the number rise. The wall is looked after. Every request passes an automatic filter before it is posted, you can report anything that is out of place, and you can block a person so that none of their posts reach you again. Blocking is yours to undo at any time from your profile. Teaching Sermons and teaching from the ministry, to listen to or to watch, with the speaker, the series and the date. Request a chaplain Ask for a chaplain to visit you in hospital, in prison, at work, at home, or after a bereavement. Say where and when would suit you, and the chaplaincy team will take it from there. Your own requests stay in the app so you can see how each one is progressing. Serve with us See the volunteer roles open for coming events and put your name to one, or step back if your circumstances change. Membership, announcements and giving Carry your digital IMAC membership card, with your member number and QR code, and show it at events. Announcements and notifications keep you up to date with news from the ministry. And when you would like to support IMAC's chaplaincy, training and outreach, there is a simple way to make a gift. ABOUT IMAC The International Ministerial Alliance of Churches was conceived in the heart of its founder in 1988 and has grown into an alliance of Christian leaders, churches and community influencers working together across the nations. IMAC equips pastors and leaders with integrity, wisdom and compassion, runs a national Pastoral Care Unit serving people who face homelessness in the UK, and trains chaplains through a Bachelor of Arts in Chaplaincy. A FEW PRACTICAL NOTES A free IMAC account is needed to sign in. Creating one takes a moment, and you can delete your account and the personal data held with it from inside the app, under Profile. A small number of screens appear only for ministry staff: scanning tickets at the door, and the chaplaincy caseload. The camera is used for one purpose only, which is scanning ticket QR codes at an event. Notifications are optional and can be turned off at any time.
