Keeps crashing, slow, inconsistent,
And cannot search in the contact.
I have use this app for a couple of years. It has gotten worse. Too bad because it has password entry to my emails as an extra security so I can let others use my device but it is so much trouble it is not worth it anymore.
Sometimes I had to re type my email because it crashed.

Useful app
A very good app to extend the capabilities of my mobile devices.
Don't bother.
This is just a password-protected Web portal, with the addition of ads and a shortcut bar for other Google services. It simply takes you to your Web gmail. It's not really an app for gmail any more than Safari or Chrome.

Much improved functionality especially in the use of labels & management of messages. Finally, someone understood that the "filing" of data & information for future use is important to the user. The layout and icons are much improved. The inter connectivity with other apps and social media could be improved but I believe that is just a question of time. Appreciate the effort & results. I will recommend it to others.

A"Must Have" for Gmail
If you are a Gmail user look no further for an iPad app! End of story.
Sound and large ad
If you can get rid of the big ad that comes across the screen ...I'll come back to give you 5 star review...

Easy but Productive
I felt this app was easy to navigate, yet has the productive tools for what I needed.
Password lock
I'm using it for the password feature and it works well. Needs badge notifications for unread email and smoother overall. Then I'm buying!
Ads!
Big ugly splash screen ad whenever you open gmail.
Fast and reliable app
I was using the standard Gmail app but shortly after a month of using it the app from Google crashed repeatedly. I switched to this 3rd party app and I have been very pleased. It runs all my accounts and has great additional options. A good app for any user having trouble using the standard gmail app. A+
