Where did the propers only go?

That is the primary reason I purchased this app. Why remove that option??

New Version

The new version is horrible, unable to follow the missal, it’s not user friendly. What’s bothersome is there no options between the different versions. So we no longer use the app.

Still No Monastic Breviary

Latest update removed support for several version of the Office including the monastic breviary. The android app was updated to support the monastic breviary (I use it on my ereader). The android app is just all around better, not sure why they haven’t updated the iOS version to match the features in the android app.

Difficulty with new update

I have had this App for many years and have enjoyed having it so I don’t have to take my 1962 missal to Mass , but with the latest update (version 7) so much was lost - one can no longer read both Latin and English on the same screen , and the Breviary seems to have completely lost the English version, so one goes through all the psalms and prayers and then later on find the English versions to at least understand very well the prayers.
I hope this will be fixed soon so I can go back to using the App daily for Mass and Office.

New UX design & notifications

The design is completely new. It’s going to take time to adjust. But a couple things to mention.
1. Scrolling in Brevarium can be done by going up or down. In Missale it’s only left to right. Can scrolling be up and down too?
2. With this update it seems as though in app notifications are possible however once it’s gone from the Home Screen, where do you go to read them? I have a badge with 1 notification but can’t clear it.
3. Contact - from the home page and tapping iMass at the bottom and then Contact opens an email to info@l***mass.net. The email is invalid and gets returned.

I know this update took a lot of time and effort I am very thankful for your hard work and dedication and for keeping it free.

God bless!

O.P. Missing

I use this app three times a day on average. Our Dominican Tertiary chapter prays the 1962 OP Divinum Officium. Sadly, it’s gone from the update. I hope that it will be returned.

Thanks Be To God For This App!

Thank you so much to the makers of the iMass app! It allows me to have the time to say the Divine Office every day by making it easy to have with me and saving me from having to set my books every day! Thank you for the change that saves where you are in the Office when you take a break. May God reward you abundantly!

2 flaws on the update

1. Missing lines on the bottom of each page of the English translation
2. When switching between languages, it doesn’t keep you on the same page or place in the mass always. It takes you back to the beginning.

If these are fixed, then this updated version would be great. I appreciate the input in red of what is happening at the alter. It is great for those new and old to the latin mass.

Too bad, now my phone is too old to support iMass!

Dear iMass, I have an iPhone 8. But now iMass doesn’t work on my phone. Could you post a simpler version that will still work for those of us with older phones? Thank you!

Please add back a few features from prior version

Love the app and appreciate the new look but that would be great if you could add back the ability to filter on just the propers for mass and to skip to different sections of breviary. Also, it would be nice to see the feast name and ranking for each day for the various Missals.

Love it

Beautiful :)

New review due to deletions

I have left several reviews over the past three years, which are all of a sudden gone from this site. Very upsetting, as the problems with this app are persistent and ongoing to this day. None of the links within the missal work to get to the portions of the mass such as the confession prayers, or spiritual communion, despite having previous responses that “we will work on it”. Never worked on or fixed, just ignored. So frustrating and utterly disappointing. Apparently Apple removes legitimate negative reviews for some reason. Totally uncalled for, and means the ratings are bogus.

Why is this not available in the US???

Why?

Admins Never Take Old Locations Down

I wonder if they’ll even see this

Not the SSPX

It might be the Latin Mass but it’s still not the SSPX…

Great App. Problem with update.

After July 23 update, the app. will no longer load on my Android Samsung tablet. Please fix bug.

I give up

Over a year since my last review, and absolutely nothing has been updated or improved. Patience may be a virtue, bit this is simply unacceptable. Links are still all broken, etc. “We’ll work on it” was the last response…before the Second Coming perhaps?

Response from developer

We’ll work on it!

The TRADS

Amazing...for Trads. I like it! I would recommend to any Trad. I kindly recommend them to change it to “iTrad”.

Still, go Mass in person.

Love the app, but I’d rather attend Novus Ordo in person than the Tridentine virtually. Just my two cents. But anyways, long live the Latin Rite!
