It runs on your device first — instant, offline, and private. When a meter is hard to read, optional cloud AI steps in for a confident result. Works with analog (Ferraris), digital, and smart meters. • ELECTRICITY, GAS & WATER Track electricity and gas meters — and hot and cold water meters too. Single- and dual-tariff (day/night) electricity meters are supported. Manage your main home, holiday flat, small business or heat pump meter, all in parallel. • AI ASSISTANT Ask the built-in AI assistant questions about your meters, contracts, bills, and consumption in plain language. • UPLOAD OR PHOTOGRAPH A CONTRACT OR INVOICE Upload a PDF — or photograph a paper contract or bill — and AI fills the form for you. iMeter Reader automatically detects whether the document is a contract or an invoice, then extracts tariff name, provider, base price, price per kWh, annual consumption, monthly payment, contract length, notice period, price guarantees, and sign-up bonuses. • RUNNING COSTS & USAGE PER CONTRACT The meter comes first — add a contract whenever you like. iMeter Reader then tracks the consumption inside the contract period, recalculated automatically each time you add a reading dated within it. Enter your prices and it shows your accumulated running costs and total usage to date — and reminds you before the contract ends or a price guarantee expires. • EMAIL YOUR PROVIDER Need to contact your energy provider? If they're listed in the app you can email them directly; if not, start from a built-in template. When your contract details (provider, meter number) and your saved profile address are filled in, they're placed into the email automatically — you just check it and send from your own device. It all happens locally, so your data stays private. • USAGE ANALYSIS & CHARTS Generate bar, line, or area charts per meter. Compare months and spot seasonal patterns at a glance. • READING REMINDERS Set weekly, bi-weekly, or every-4-weeks reminders. • ELECTRICITY & GAS TARIFF COMPARISON — PER METER Compare tariffs for a specific meter without leaving the app, powered by CHECK24 (Germany) — no account needed. Open it from the meter or its usage chart: the postal code and an annual consumption estimate come from that meter, and ten common filters start with a pre-set selection you can change, clear or reset. Filters are saved per meter on your device. Loads only with your explicit consent. • PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Readings stored locally — AI features opt-in only. No forced sign-up, no ads, no background tracking.
