A cut above

I went on a rampage trying to figure out how to make my own matrix wallpapers for two days. I tried all video to live converters in the process and this is by far the best one currently. I bought the ad free to support the dev but it’s not required in order to make live wallpapers. You might have to watch an ad once in a blue moon but it’s not bad at all. I only paid very late in the game after I used it like 300 times lol. 15pro iOS 17.5.1. Only minor issue I had was that very large or long video files with lots of action/movement will sometimes crash the app otherwise I easily had 250+ interactions before with no crashes. I’m talking 1440p videos recorded on PC with unlimited bitrate in OBS on a top 1% PC.. something like 500MB for a 40sec video. I doubt most people will have any issues. Just keep videos under 4 minutes or relaunch after crash and try again and you’ll be gucci. I’m just good at stress testing and breaking things 😅. Live wallpapers are extremely finicky in iOS 17. This converts video to live wallpapers, consistently and it doesn’t artificially do strange things to force it to work - other apps introduce black bars or cap it to 1 second to “cheat” which is why I spent so long testing all of them.

You do have to pay like why not for free

Disappointed

Very disappointed at this app. It is very hard to navigate if you don’t have the pro edition and if you don’t have 5G, it doesn’t work properly.

Subscription

It’s good for what it does but I forgot to cancel it and now my mum had to pay for the yearly subscription and I’m very annoyed, it is my fault but I wish it didn’t happen.
