Arturia don’t seem to be updating this app

Used to work great. Just buzzy now.

Abandonware

Better available out there. Don’t bother.

Why is it recommended for iMPC pro 2 ?

I bought it because it was recommended for iMPC pro 2 but whenever I play along with the music it’s always off . When I use other iia apps they are on time and they aren’t recommended. Why is this app recommended when it doesn’t work well with the app ?

Sound is decent by can’t recommend any Arturia Apps..

Time for an upgraded version .. lot’s of crashes.. looks like Arturia won’t be supporting any of their IOS Apps, can’t recommend any, due to lack of support.

Tabletop? Are You Kidding?

This sounds good but doesn’t play nice. I guess Arteria is gonna stick with Tabletop and not bother integrating their synths with the rest of the iOS music production universe. It needs auV3. C’mon guys!

AUv3 Compatibility, PLEASE!

C’mon, Arturia! Bring ALL of your fine apps into compliance! Don’t neglect your iOS users!!!!

Need auv3 please

Love the imini. Super punchy for basses. Just needs auv3

Used To Love It. Not So Much Now. ☹️

I’ve had iMini for years and used to use and love it. But I’ve drifted away from it. I’ve actually owned a Model D since the late 70’s, but was always happy to have this (once great) app as a convenient and portable substitute for my iPads.

I fired it up today and I must admit that I’m very disappointed. According to the App Store, Arturia hasn’t updated it in 3 years. And it certainly shows!! No AUv3, Tap Tempo crashes the app, outdated connectivity options that are now greyed out rather than removed, no Bluetooth connectivity, blah, blah, blah.

I love and use Arturia hardware and software. Use their products all the time. But revisiting this particular app was a huge disappointment. They should update it or just drop it from the store. It’s obvious that they have forgotten it even exists.

This is not to badmouth Arturia as a company. They are great. But this app should be avoided.

Buy Moog’s very own version. It sounds and works great, and they stay on top of it. In fact, it was updated just 2 days ago. It’s based on their classic baby, and they treat it as such. 👍

Poor implementation

Could have been good, but is missing vital controls you would find on the synth it’s copying, like the LFO !

Save your money, avoid buyers regret and get the Moog version, it’s far better than this poorly implemented ripoff.

AU

AUv3. It’s time.

Migrate to AUv’3 technology please

I love everything about this program but please migrate this to AUv’3 technology please

please update to auv3

such a great sounding app.
please update to auv3

NEEDS AUv3 UPDATE

As I already stated in my review of iProphet, it needs AUv3 to actually be useful as an app these days, they might actually get more sales if it were compatible with AUv3 hosts, has it been abandoned? 3 years since last updated, not exactly great support to your customer base.

Eh

It’s really good sound design but the keyboard is really short.

Randomly distorts sounds

Every once in a while the app will distort the sound really badly. Sounds like the speakers are extremely damaged, probably not very good for my speakers as well... other than that the interface is pretty cool, the app description images are very decieving because it’s just the keyboard synthesizer not a bunch of ones to choose from. Wish I would have known that before paying for this app as well.

Arp Addiction

It’s like having a moog in your pocket. And who doesn’t want that? With a midi controller attached and audio out into a big speaker you are transformed into the coolest & loudest person in the band. The arp possibilities are vast letting you shape the sound and rhythm to create evolving, dynamic pieces of music. It’s the best 4 quid I’ve spent.

Okay ish but not like desktop version at all

This is okay but the presets are super janky. They essentially are the original presets from the original Mini V desktop as they are named the same. The latest desktop version is amazing.

Aurturia have let themselves down by not updating this app and having the same presets as the desktop version. I love Arturia but not this. I've requested a refund from Apple.

Sounds OK...

...but it’s not an Audio Unit; which in this day and age is essential.

My other complaint is that it still clings on to the Retronyms Tabletop ecosystem. I know this app was also developed by Retronyms, but Tabletop died about 5 years ago. Retronyms need to remove Tabletop from the App Store and move on; just like everyone else did, 5 years ago.

Dropped the ball big time

Once upon a time this was one of my favorite iOS synth, sadly, the ball has been dropped by not making this an Audio Unit a year ago. Frankly, it’s no point to even bother making it one now since Mood released the model D, and to be honest, I literally forgot this existed.
At this point, Auria needs to just release something else and make sure it’s an Audio Unit, because if it isn’t, it will be a no sale.
While this still sounds good, I would not suggest it to anyone.
Audio Unit is the present/future of iOS and anyone who can’t grasp that should not develop for the iOS music platform.

Battery killer

Sounds great, but operates at 100% in the background and drains your battery.
