No support

No support

I have had this app for ten years. The highlight feature quit working and there is no one to talk to about fixing it. I purchased the app thinking if I paid for it, there would be support later if needed.

Can you add more languages?

Wish there are more languages.

Love it but how do you highlight?

Great app but how do I highlight a verse?

Excellent

Easy to use, helpful to navigate, excellent app. Recommend it highly.

App crashes

Such a shame, cannot navigate to settings, select texts nor see annotations as all of the above actions lead to crash on iOS 17.6.1

Still the best

I love this app and use it to get context to the daily readings. No wifi is required and it integrates with iMissal. It still works well, no annoying ad popups or someone trying to sell me something.

Functional issues

When viewing the tax on the top line is cut in half or not visible on some pages. This makes the app not very pleasant to use. I tried different settings, different fonts, different line spacing, but the top line seems to always be cut off by a header at the top of the page. also, the help button does not work. It brings you to a page that is not functioning on the web and therefore I could not contact the developer through the app. This was my initial impression and I have a lot more to explore but this point given the functional issues Iโ€™m not sure that I will continue to use the app.

Works on iPad not on iPhone

Works fine for iPad. Canโ€™t change Eucharistic Prayer. Stays stuck on number 2. Would not recommend if buying strictly for iPhone. Needs to be repaired but does not appear programmers are updating the application any longer.

Crashing

I use this app almost every Sunday, but today is is crashing on me. Does it need to be updated for iOS 13?

Getting back to last passage written?

Hello, I finally got around to getting this wonderful app; I ver much like how it is integrated with iMissal. The one glaring issue I have discovered is that, say I am reading the Preface to the NT and I come to a linked passage in Scriptureโ€”I click on it and it takes me to that passage, of course, but I cannot see any way to return to the precise place I was just before? Maybe you are all working to address that? Other than that, this is great! Thanks!

Love this app!

This is the best Bible app available! I love the integration with iMissal.

Wish it had reading plans available, and I would add page turn animation as a "wish list" item, but it is overall a great app.

Cancha make more faith based apps like this (e.g. Catechism)?

Slide to select chapter does not work

The slide to select chapter and verse function does not work yet. Looking forward to seeing this issue resolved.

Not for iOS 8.3

Loved it until I upgraded- now I can't get even get an answer. Don't buy until you do.

Update for iOS 8.3 needed

Need update for iOS 8.3.
Sliders are now invisible, and you can no longer chance the font size.

no syncing feature; difficult page swiping

Unless I'm missing it, there's no sync feature. So if you bookmark, highlight, or write "margin notes" it's not going to carry over to your other device. And this seems to be the one issue they should jump on and correct. It's not user friendly to go back and forth from iPhone to iPad to make sure your Bibles match up. Page swiping could be improved as well; it sometimes takes up to three attempts to get to next page. There is a scrolling feature though if you want your experience more web based than book based. No noticeable issues with scrolling. These are all very straightforward things to correct, and should have been a long time ago.

Sliders?

I have used this app for about two years and love it. But for some reason the sliders no longer appear when clicking on a book. So if I want to get to Chapter 23 I have to scroll over and over and can't get directly there. I wonder if a fix is needed to keep up with new Apple iOS. Without working sliders, the app is all but worthless - I hope it is fixed soon!

No references or footnotes

There are not any references. I like to look at footnotes and references for help while reading the Bible. Please add this in your next update.

No dictionary support, otherwise a great app

This app has everything you could want to seamlessly read the Catholic Bible. The way the program handles the footnotes in a pop-up box with its own back button is alone worth the price of the app. Only thing missing is the ability to highlight and define words using the iPhone's dictionaries.

Ok, but only 3 stars for now

This is a great add-on to iMissal at a reasonable price. But it is stuck on the iOS 1.0 world due to the out of date sliders used.

I HATE HATE HATE the sliders used to find chapter & verse. A roller wheel or a scrolling menu would be better.

Fix the sliders and this will be a 5 star app.
