Where did the author chapter and verse go?

For many years the app worked great, but now with the latest update, it is missing chapter, verse, and author for the Readings and Gospel. Suddenly there is no author or where to locate the readings in the Bible. This is important, as one of the criticism of Catholicism is a failure of its adherents to know chapter and verse when discussing God’s Word.

Sunday Prface

I love this app however after the update the Sunday Preface collapses when clicking on the options. Is it possible for the Sunday Preface not to collapse so it is easier to follow the mass?

New format is worse

Why did they make the text wrap differently? Why, when I pick the date, I cannot maximize the readings panel? I tap the teeny-tiny β€˜X’ to expand the readings panel and it’s like the button doesn’t work at all. Then when I tap really fast, my iPad thinks I am trying to minimize the window.. Angry, but trying to sin not.

Went down hill

I have had this app for a very long time. I have always used it and I have always enjoyed it. However, today when I went to open up the readings, they no longer list the books and chapters of the Bible for each reading. They just start off with β€œFirst reading”??? Where are they at, Old Testament?New Testament? Acts of the apostles? Corinthians? Where are they at? You have no idea, especially, if you are like me and you are just starting to really want to read the Bible. I want to go back and check the verses and read more. I can no longer do that with this app. If I am wrong and I am just not seeing it, please correct me and I will change my review. But for now, I have switched to the iPieta app.

At last

I really welcome the update to the iMissal. I hope they will continue to update the text by including the various prephases for the Eucharistic prayers. I really like the new appearance.
