Really cool

This is a great app I plan on purchasing a computer license more then likely vs ios but I probably will also being I’m iPad only for mobile. I too was wondering what the time cap was so that might be good for the app details/welcome screen, thanks.

Huge battery drain

I installed the app on my iPad Pro late at night and had a quick look around. I didn’t charge the iPad as it had 52% battery which would normally last me a day. Next morning I was surprised to find the battery at 22%.

The battery usage indicator showed nearly 50% of my previous 24 hours use had been from iMiX16 Go’s background activity.

Hi, MiX16 apps do not have any background activity so your experience is very strange. Did you load any media files and left them playing?

Missing important features as aspect ratio and independent faders for audio on video side

I think is the most wonderful app for cue ing audio, video and images at the same time.. it helps you to do a decent show but somehow, I couldn’t find the setup for video aspect ratios and independent volume controls for the video side... For me, on the show side (not theatre or cinema) the 16:10 aspect ratio is not handy... I would prefer to have the ability to choose between the 3... 4:3, 19:9 and 16:10 not only cinematic view. As for the audio on videos it could be manageable with the master fader but is not that pro... This being said, I think it’s worth the price and I would be more than happy to upgrade for the price and futures but if it would have the futures that I specified it would be much loved by everyone.

Hi, video aspect ratio is something you can not set on iPad (for now, we will see what iPadOS will bring). Under Setup section tap Settings three times and play with a setting External Display Overscan. You can set audio of video channel with fader. Under channel setting you can set what fader will do, fade only audio, video or both. Nice idea about a master audio fader for video channels. Thank you.

I love it.

Great Aps.

Web Browser Import Doesn't Work

This app has been great so far. I'm testing it on a small improv show while I decide if I want to buy the full version for use with my larger theatrical performances. I'm a bit nervous as it doesn't explain anywhere what "time-limited use" means. The only thing that doesn't seem to work is any sound imported through the browser from FreeSound. Every time I try to load one in it crashes. This is annoying, but I've imported sound from Dropbox just fine.

Time-limited use means that after appx. 20 minutes all channels will stop and commercial will be displayed on screen. iMiX16 Go is for testing purposes only. Do not use it for live shows. You must understand that such an app can not be free for live shows, which means that you have to buy one of the Pro versions. Freesound sound import - please login to Freesound first (or create an account) and then download the sound files. If you are not logged in an empty sound is downloaded (just a few bytes of info from Freesound) and that is why app crashes. Regards, Grega

It's just an ad

Downloaded it for testing purposes. All it does is display a "click here to buy" splash page.

Response from developer

Free version is for testing purposes. You can do everything as you can do in Pro versions. But of course commercial splash page appears from time to time. Otherwise no one would buy Pro versions. You have to understand this. Regards, Grega

Useless

Every few seconds it throws up an ad for the expensive paid version right in the middle of the screen. Not free at all, just an annoying ad disguised as an app. Puts me off of giving such devs my money. Pointless.

Free version not usable

I don't mind limited functionality apps, but the free version off this is simply not usable. The pop-ups interfere continuously.

It's not a bad design, though there no control over start, stop, and fade-in of each track, which means you need a separate sound editor as well.

Imix16 test before purchase

Can't access camera roll or video folder to add videos and images on iPad 2 iOS 8.1 , so not very useful.

Reedit after using itransfer to access camera roll.

After finally working out how to add a video and image file using itransfer to access camera roll and then use open in to imix16.

Overall I'm impressed so far the midi works well so it's a 5 star app, no other app on iPad can sync video and images and audio at the same time.

Super

:/

This app has a really professional feel to it and looks good. However, most people would have no clue how to use and it doesn't have a tutorial, which is why I only gave it 3 stars.

Not Bad!

Could not test all features, but the audio is very cool, I was looking for a simple interface to use for sound effects for a high school show, perfect! Looks capable of much more as well.

Good app

Useful well done

Great App

I wish I had back the 35+ bucks I spent on other apps hoping to find one that does what this one does. If you want to control multiple cues with the ability to play sound files simultaneously and cross-fade this is the app. Simple, totally intuitive interface.

A good starting point

I am using the free version and it was useful.
Comments would be:
I would like to see it save the starting positions of the music files and allow me to change this easier as it is too fiddly at the moment and on an iPad, when you remove your finger, it Changes the position by a few seconds... Frustrating.
It needs the ability to delete a file from a set or change the file that it points to as if you choose the wrong file, you have no way of removing it.
Would be nice to see the iPad clock and battery status whist in use.
Portrait and landscape would be nice for viewing.
Thanks
