Too many ads
Great app, but there are just too many ads to be enjoyable. Is there a way to upgrade to get rid of the ads? I did not see one in the settings.

Why is this not on Oculus or Sidequest???
This is soooo good it’s a shame you can’t experience it in VR. SOMEONE needs to do more Bible/Gospel VR developments. You could RULE the industry right now and NO ONE is taking advantage of it! What a shame.

perfect for teaching
I teach the youth at church, usually the teens, but sometimes as young as five years old, and this app’s search function gives you an interactive activity for every age group with a click of a button. I taught about Christmas and the nativity scene as the five year olds colored. Ten year olds jumped up and circled around the augmented reality items. 12-14 year old loved the group game. I’m excited to see what else comes as the content grows!

It’s alright
Seems that there is a few details missing. The AR is slow to load. When viewing the Ark of the Covenant I feel as if there should have been more details add and more free movement of the camera
High expectations not met
Update 1:
While I appreciate that a mobile AR/VR experience will not rise to the same level of quality as a desktop based VR system, the mobile experience of static models and images still falls far short of what mobile AR/VR is capable of.
Try Angry Birds AR: Isle of Pigs for example. This is a mobile AR experience that far outstrips what Immersive Bible does. It features interactive characters and real-time physics simulation. I’m not even asking for physics, just scripted interactions!
The requirement a full desktop VR system for any kind of interaction is full of issues. First of all I don’t have the extra money to burn on such a system. I also don’t have the space. Such a system would be difficult to bring to Bible study or to a church summer camp. It’s also difficult to casually show someone if it comes up randomly in discussion. Finally, if I did have the money and space to dedicate to a VR system, I wouldn’t be buying the system tied to Facebook, there’s too many privacy concerns there.

When I saw this project on Kickstarter, I had gotten the idea that they were going to make history come alive with characters moving and acting in a VR and AR space. Unfortunately that is not the case.
What the VR and AR content instead is little more than static marble statues.
When I think of “immersive history” I expect to be able to feel like I have stepped out of a time machine and into the past. I expect to be able to see the lives of people and historical events playing out. I even expect to be able to interact with objects and have conversations (yes, perhaps pre-scripted) with people. I expect to see history come alive before my eyes. The Oculus animated short “Henry” is and example of the absolute minimum of what I expect.
I don’t expect static objects and marble statues. I don’t expect an app that feels like a web app and I don’t expect to be kicked out to Safari for the AR experiences.

I think all of my fellow Christians will love this
It’s hard to find good content that’s made specifically for people who want to teach the Bible and God’s word in their home. This fills that need and I can feel safe letting my kids have free reign inside it. These games are made for them!

This app has some great content for learning and experiencing some of the most important temples described in the Bible. It also includes a number of games and puzzles with biblical themes providing guilt free entertainment for the kids.

Easy to get stuck into it
I’ve never been a big fan of reading. Words on a page are just too much. It is nice to have something that allows me to really experience the Bible in a more interactive way. It has been great to see the stories and play the games. I can’t wait for more.
Not meeting expectations
Most of the VR experiences do not work, and the ones that do are just 360 images.
I assumed VR/AR would be the focus of the app given the name and Kickstarter campaign, so I'm a little disappointed.

Interactive Bible
Nothing brings the Bible stories to life better than this app. It is amazing to use the AR features, it feel like the objects from Herod’s temple are projected right in your living room. A great way to visually share the Bible with your family.

Great for toddlers!
I’ve got a two year old and she loves the coloring pages. I teach her about the Bible story as the bucket fills the picture. I’m anxious to see what other activities come! Great way to teach and learn!
