Gut…

Has a monthly subscription
This ‘paid’ app has a $1 monthly subscription to view photos on the tv. I don’t understand the point of the subscription when the library is already hosted locally on immich server
Response from developer
The monthly subscription is removed from the slideshow in the latest release.
Aktuell so absolut keine Kaufempfehlung!

Does not work at all
API key is generated successfully but then says NSCocaErrorDomain. I suspect it worked with older versions but further developed has been neglected.
Needs more help docs
I'm struggling to get this app to show albums and pictures on my iPad. While I can access everything perfectly on a browser with the same user, the app isn't working as expected. This makes troubleshooting difficult, especially since the documentation is quite sparse. If I get that working I will try on my Apple TV.

Response from developer
The app is mainly designed for AppleTV. As you wrote on the iPad you can use the browser, so it doesn’t has an extra benefit.
Vibe coders are everywhere
App connected to immich on my nas, 1 point for that.
Except that, it’s barely working: shows random photos in random orders, ignores existence of about half of the years in my library, has awful interface (how about we cover half of a screen with exif data?)
Or, and one more, it insists on wrong keyboard when you try to input path to your nas

No albums found
Showing just “no albums found”. Don’t buy.
Doesnt work
NSCocoaErrorDomain if I type manually API,
If I generate API, then Error: The data couldn't be read because it is missing.
Tried both local.ip and reverse proxy via synology settings.
