I use this metronome for music and working out. I love the minimalist look and that you can fully customize your rhythm.

Simply the most powerful and flexible metronome app I have come across. I use it to practice and teach all of my students rhythms as a drum teacher. Very helpful and intuitive!

Best Metronome Ever
I have not seen any other metronome app with such versatility in terms of mixing up different time signatures and rhythmical patterns. Kudos kudos kudos to the dev!

Metronome apps which are simple, have a good UI, and are not either full of ads or in-app purchases are surprisingly rare. Impulse checks all of these boxes.
I have two modest feature requests:
1. Use different colors when flashing on downbeats depending on the color of the downbeat itself. So on a yellow downbeat the app should flash yellow, and on a white downbeat the app should flash white.
2. Add a button to quickly toggle sound on and off, without pausing the metronome. This is useful when using the flashing feature to quickly make the metronome fully visual

This is SUCH a great app! Works presently across the iPhone and iPad and bonus feature that I didn’t see mentioned is that a visio custom preset saved on one device suns and shows up on the other! Love the different beat sounds, simple yet intuitive layout and the way it all comes together. Great job, developer(s). This app is the 🤌 of metronome apps! Also, thankyou for making it truly free.

Simple, Effective, Quirky
The user interface is (small) intended for iPhone but works well enough on iPad. Very functional but you need to touch everything to find all the features. The example preset rhythms are essential to understanding how to construct new and complex rhythms. On the quirky side the Flash occurs on all beats, not just the yellow down beats; having selected a Preset rhythm changes are stored w/o warning finally the Add A Preset (that works like a copy) control is not initially obvious. But given the price is a great deal.

Good Metronome
Although this metronome might be confusing to use, it is a good one because of the subdivisions you can make. Other metronome I like is soundcorset, it’s similar but with less subdivision opportunities.
