What's New in Inclinometer

3.0

We fixed a few bugs but, more important, we finally adapted the app to all iPhone and iPad screens. At the same time, we had to drop the Apple Watch companion app, sorry about that.

Very nice and good functionality

It’s really nice that one can choose personal images to be used in the roll/pitch display.
The angle values are good to read, and the max inclination function is very useful. Also I like that it works in landscape and portrait mode.

I’d rate 5 stars, if following improvements could be implemented:
1. App remembers calibration from last time. Usually the phone is mounted identically every time, however a level surface is not available.
2. Set Calibration to non-zero values, i.e. if vehicle is standing in the drive in front of the house, where value of inclination is known. Entering roll/pitch angles could be done by tapping the current displayed values.
3. Add a “Damping” value in the settings. On terrain that kind of shakes the vehicle, a higher damping of the inclination changes could prevent the displayed values from bouncing back and forth, thus easier reading.
4. More available background colors (not only 10 predefined). Maybe chosen from a color palette.

Thank you!
