Inclr is the Future of Productivity apps

I’m not sure when I last wrote a review for an app, but it would be a shame to hide this stunning app from yall.

Inclr is a productivity/workflow app that artists and creatives may thrive with. It’s visual, tactile, stunning to look at with loads of built in tools: synced calendar app, notes, album, internet access, music player, drawing capabilities, social media posting to Twitter and other platforms and so much more!

But the jewel of the app, in my opinion, is how one can view their work in an “Inclr.”

An inclr is a circular interface that is like a virtual backpack prefilled with the items mentioned above. So then you can take said photo customizable Inclr, open thr interface (like opening a backpack) and use the preloaded tools, customizing the functionality of that Inclr (backpack) to your specific needs.

But instead of having a single Inclr for all your needs, you can make more Inclrs and keep them in the same project with different jobs or have them work together.

Thus instead of a single traditional workspace. You can set up your onclrs as individuals, as groups in limitless configurations.

And the different views to choose from, 3d, Kaban, mind map, ar, and more helps to keep the project stimulating and dynamic too.

Now, there is a learning curve to using Inclr. And thst den feel frustrating, however Ken is a short website away. When I struggled with a bug or such, I was able to message Ken on a messenger window on the Inclr website itself. And he was kind enough to answer promptly and fixed the issues I had.

So right now the app is still undergoing refining, but it’s amazing to be part of the Inclr Journey being able to give and receive fast feedback to help improve the app.

And it’s a one time buy which is so appreciated too!

So thank you, Hugs and Blessings!

Unique and Amazing

I collect thousands of softwares and apps in my free time in an organized manner and i have never come across another app that does exactly this. Absolutely cool that you can make visual spaces in different cool views and you can practically add anything to it making it a really useful organizer

Can write a note but not paste in text in a note :(

If you want to write notes in the app it is great. If you want to copy text from somewhere and paste it into a note, it doesn’t paste in. I found that very annoying, enough to abandon the app.

Hidden Gem

This is an amazing concept. As a visual learner and processor with ADHD this is the way my brain works! Can’t wait to see the continued development and improvement!

I can't figure it out

I took a solid whack at it, and despite being well versed in all sorts of mind mapping, organizational, and project management software, I couldn't make heads or tails of it.

Solid learning curve

The functionality of this app will be, I believe, off the charts. WHEN I find the buttons and levers that make the whirligigs fly. The app help page provides really good surface quickies to get you started playing and Inclr-ing straight away. They are, however, pretty abbreviated and rather quick, often beginning mid-task, so to speak. I would LOVE a couple of videos either on the help page or elsewhere that are bottom up, not with any assumed level of knowledge. The app itself was a bit overwhelming at first, and a video or tutorial that walked me through creating Inclr, node, layers, navigating layers etc. would have been super beneficial on the learning curve side. I have STILL not gotten the hang of the layers. I keep picking at it, eventually I will get that specific nuance, not knowing how simply means there is learning to do.
All of that said, this app is without question singular and is MAGNIFICENT in its ability to streamline all of the ‘things’. I used it initially during art school for notes, digital copies of sketches, reference photos, portfolio edits of finished works, documentation and potential project ideas. I then began to use it in my daily ‘list making’ sessions. To-do lists, project lists for different areas of the house. . .
AND THEN THE MAGIC HAPPENED I have begun to come toward a peak in the curve! This app works fine when you use it for school. This app works fine for work, bills, trip planning, or to keep track of emails and important correspondence. But it works MORE than fine when you recognize that it does not merely provide a space for you to organize things. By creating Inclrs for each of the subsets of tasks and items within your headspace. It can effectively be your minds digital dashboard. When opening my Inclr mind map I have a view of all of the things that matter to me. I needn’t bounce between this app or that to find news and check email or update the things that I have been working on, flip between or flip through open apps to get to my reference photo witgh paint covered hands. I merely open my brain each day. From there I can do the things that need done, see the things that need seen and not be distracted by the rabbit hole that is scroll dig find. Need resume info? Work Inclr. Tax info? Documents. That sweet photo of you and the dog camping at Black Canyon? Travel Pics.
It is a tiny bit of a pattern switch, but the developers have made it silly easy to import virtually anything and Inclr is an export option for nearly every platform, including photo editing software. (I am not an Adobe suite user, I can not speak to compatibility there. Works splendidly to store Affinity files.) Once the ‘save to Inclr and put it where it goes’ habit has been well established, and the ‘open base file in Inclr and work your flow from there’ becomes a practice, this app is genuinely the perfect method for keeping all of the clutter in the day and all of the things you know you need to keep track of right where they are easy to see. EASY TO SEE, there needs be very little finding, you did draw the map after all!
Subscription? I may not have gone that route, truly. I used the app for a week and found it so useful for the intended purpose and for SO MANY OTHER THINGS that I purchased the one-off lifetime license. In my estimation this was the best option. I had already gotten what I felt was a great value from the app and I knew it would be as helpful or more in other ways.
THE BIGGEST REASON I AM GLAD I PURCHASED FULL LICENSE? I have plenty of time to learn every single application for this product.
Also? I have time do upload documents and photos from past years and streamline storage of family things!

CONS? I would love some ‘Inclr for dummies’ super basic breakdown vids. Maybe some ‘what not to’ advice? Level that curve a bit, it would have been rad to have been given more learning. Even in the form of YouTube videos so that length is not an issue?

PROS? Seamless integration with nearly every single app; allows me to SEE what is important to me in a bigger picture format and gives me a perfect tool to dive deeper into absolutely anything I want to because of the seemingly endless options for node content. Intuitive; beautiful; you control how much you put in and how much you get out; fun to use; even more fun to just play around with and ‘get to know’, if you will.

Great POTENTIAL.. But........

I am currently in the 2 week free trial and really do love this app...BUT I cannot commit to this app bc the syncing is abysmal!!! If I cannot count on sync, sadly, I just cannot contine with the app.

Ex 1: I added a note from my iPhone, but on my iPad and Mac the note space is there as just "Note" rather than my title, and the actual notes are not there - it's empty.

Ex 2: I added a Task List on my iPhone. Tried to sync with my iPad. Nothing. Re-open app on my iPhone and it syncs to the iPad database and now my task list is completely gone.

If this app had SEAMLESS auto-sync that actually worked, it would be the PERFECT app. I am so incredibly disappointed. Please fix this and I will be your biggest fan! Without this fix, I will be moving on....

It’s simply doesn’t work.

I downloaded this app and very very much wanted to like it. Seem to be just what I was looking for but it’s broken. I tried to set up to open notes on my iPad and all I could do is send me to a preview page that doesn’t actually work, big fell right out the start

This COULD be the BEST mapping app out there

But it needs a lot of work to get the interface working correction and really bring it together to be more intuitive and reactive.

Would definitely love to see what comes next in future development, but its a bit challenging to work in and get anything done with it when it does not work correctly.

I really hope to see something more come from it soon. It would be a pillar in my creative process WITHOUT a doubt!!

EXCELLENT idea and concept !!

HOW IS THIS FOR SALE?

I bought the subscription and so i open this and it has prefabricated NOTHING-to-do-with-me junk that I want to get rid of. Is there secondary click menu to easily delete? Nope. Inexplicably under the search icon there's options for clearing, and it clears the search bar. HOW DO YOU GET RID OF THE CRAP YOU PUT IN THERE TO BEGIN WITH?? It is so infuriating to not have a clean slate and INSANITY PRODUCING to not even be able to get to that point. And the help videos seem to have no audio so it's someone clicking back and forth like using cave man gestures which take 14x longer and still tell you things like "click and then click" who knows their current aim and who has a lifetime to waste to realized your on a video fo somethign you don't want? MAKE A DELETE BUTTON! Or, I dunno, maybe go with the thing that has been STANDARDIZED already like hold down something and the X appears for you to click it. It looked so cool but now I hate it and everything to do with it after searching the internet which seems to have never heard of it. Because where I would expect to find some helpful videos there aren't. And I don't know why anyone would try to use this as a portal to view the web as it seems to downgrade everythign visually making me feel like I need glasses or something. The basics like "push return to make a new item" was in a sub menu, the most fundamental given in any list maker is a special click. SO is there some deep dark placed where a delete button is hidden but it's under a plus sign? or somethign equally intuitive. I hate myself now for having spent the time to try to use this and for now wasting the time writign this but my hope is you will direct me to a video where someone tells me how to actually do things (even with subtitles instead of this cromagnon approach of gestures back and forth which takes (sooooo x e^2000000) long I want to rip my monitor off its fixture and beat it until it gets to the point, UGH!). Things like DELETE? DO you not ever throw anything out??? Is this like secretly a game for horders to see how much useless crap one desktop can have whileyou squint becaue everything is FUZZY and to make it even more like a bad optemetrist visit, it's not scalable??? This ain't a webbrowser by a long shot. And where do you have some instructions (is the single page graphic with pointers to the names of things your "MASSIVELY improved" documentation? How can that be? What was it before, Rorshach inkblot? How could there have been LESS information before the way it is currently? It's cute that you want to be all things to all people, but may start with being one good really useful and workable thing. My other guess is that this is an amazing app on the ipad or somethign? you seem like smart people who are trying but this experience, for someone who is the one his friends go for for help with apps, has been enraging to say the least. HOW CAN I NOT GET ANYTHING DONE AFTER AN HOUR!?!?!?!?! Or just tell me the secret, what is it really? NO I mean really. What is the part that works great and should use it for? as a scrapbook of the net feature? not quite. It's a terrible way to surf the net. It it the mind mapping?YOu have videos literally showing you going through different selections of how to view your screen (like going down a list of options really takes some figuring??!!?!?) which is implying that what you really care about and want to show off is some visual and not that it's pointless to use. It's great that you've spent all this time to have 17,000 cool ways to display your unworkable app. So I'm here to let you know, that's enough with the cutsie views. Make the thing I'm viewing with such orgasmic viewing options actually useable. PLEASE! or at least for now call it "Inclr: the NOT Functional Just Yet Version" so people don't waste time thinking it's just them not getting somethign that is secretly there but they haven't clicked on the proper counterintuitively chosen glyph.

Inclr

App has been very useful to organise and make more accessible my ideas/notes/videos etc. Developper is very supportive and responsive to suggestions/queries. Looking forward to seeing this app continue to develop, can see it being used for a huge variety of cases

Excellent Mind-Map style Organization app!

Developer is very responsive to any issues found. Inclr continues to improve and upgrade all the time--very impressed. Former Review: Revisited this app after several years and decided to purchase for one-time fee. So glad I did. I'm finding it very useful for organizing my thoughts and ideas. I can "include" pretty much anything--websites (archived for quick-access), photos, documents, notes, and much more. I think there's a lot more awaiting discovery, since this is my second day using it. Very pleased, and highly recommend Inclur for a more immersive mind-mapping experience!

Oh my, WOW! Inclr! You have just changed the game!!!!

When Apples AR headset comes you guys will be the kings of productivity software! Wow. Just wow. Wowowowowowow. Very impressed with it even as early as it is! There’s still some bugs here and there but the quality and potential is definitely there!

Useful to anyone

This wonderful app can be used to keep any kind of information. What is special is the app makes it easy to see on your screen all of what you entered. Other apps may hide it from view and you have to do a search to find it. It’s simple, you create categories of your info you want to keep. Each is called a inclr (like you’re in control). An icon shows on the screen for every category you create. Then you go to a category icon and and add items to it. Pick from a long list of kinds of data you want to add like a note, picture, file, PDF, Web page, album, Sketch, Podcast, etc. and enter it in. The app automatically adds an item icon next to that category icon on the screen. Go on and on and add more data items and on the screen the app automatically adds icons for each entry you make, around that center icon category name. In one easy look you can see all of what you entered. Category icons with item icons around them. Just tap on any icon next to one of your categories and your entry opens right up … the note (with Rich Text) or picture or Web page (with its links included), a Sketch you made, etc. You can easily see all of your categories icons with your data icons around them visible your screen. And you can drag them around to any order or view you like. Great app and has many other abilities too. Wish I had discovered it sooner.

Demo?

I find the documentation that comes with this app the worst I think I've seen on a modern Mac App. I have a suggestion. Please write documentation for use by seomone who's never seen your app before rather than from your own as someone who wrote it.

Awesome App

This is the kind of app I've been wishing for. A more visual method of navigating. Fantastic!

needs more work!

it’s a lot of features on here that are not clear and also not working! please do more fixing so this app can be more useful. thanks.

Amazing idea, has some kinks to work out

If you're a visual learner, this is the mind-mapping organizational tool for you! The layout and aesthetic is so satisfying that it actually makes me want to organize my thoughts, which is a first. So congrats to these developpers for doing what no therapist in the last ten years could!
I'm still new to using it so I haven't tried all the features yet, but I've had some difficulties wth the Notes option. Any time I use it, the app freezes and I have to force quit it, which is a bummer because it would be really nice to have access to the Notes feature. Also sometimes the Inclrs will "get stuck"to each other when I'm in the Inclr menu (like I can't see or click on an Inclr because it's stuck to the one in front of it). Restarting the app fixes this but just thought I'd add that feedback as well.
Otherwise, I really love using it and highly recommend it to visual learners with lots of disorganized thoughts and ideas!

Game-Changer!!!! You Need Inclr

I began using Inclr for purposes of organizing my neuroscience-related research and theories/notes/ideas that result. I am also in the very beginning stages of an entrepreneurial venture for which I am developing a pitch deck. Inclr provides me the ability to organize everything in an efficient and visually appealing way which facilitates productivity and conceptual theorizing like I’ve never experienced. My favorite features are as follows:

1. Wide range of visual customization
2. Ability to import/merge/annotate content from what seems like every possible resource/platform
3. Ability to change visual mind map according to what I’m working on - I change it up depending on type of information and what I’m doing with it at that moment.
4. Layers and node entries

I’d honestly been looking for something like this for years. I kept switching the apps/methods of organization and it just became a jumbled mess with information in several different places. Inclr is conducive to high-level cognitive functioning.

Amazing Vision from this creator

I've discovered Inclr almost a year ago and It keep getting better and better. I'm always excited to see what innovation is emerging. This guy is always evolving his vision. a true inspiration in design.
