Great but full of bugs
This app is a great place for the diy/indie music community but it’s incredibly buggy. I’ve tried posting one picture 4 times and the upload either stalls or crashes the app each time. Uploading one 35-second video also proved to be impossible. Interacting with other posts also frequently leads to crashes as well. I’m on an iPhone 15 running the latest iOS.

I’ve recently discovered this app and absolutely love it! Finally a platform where all parts of the music industry can collaborate and discuss music in one place. Additionally, it makes booking out-of-town so much easier! Definitely recommend.
Best App for DIY acts!
Great app for DIY and independent musicians/bands! The inclusive environment inspires you to promote yourself as well as other local bands. The style of the app allows you to easily connect with bands in areas you’re looking to tour. I’ve found a lot of great smaller acts through Indie Town that are all over my playlists! Easy to navigate whether promoting your new music or an upcoming show. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing
Indie Town is my new favorite app! As a DIY artist myself, connecting with other independent artists has always been a challenge. I usually have to scavenge multiple Facebook groups, group me chats, Reddit threads, etc. but Indie Town now replaces all of that! It is a one stop shop for connecting with all kinds of artists/bands/musicians that are trekking along independently. I highly recommend hopping on and trying it out!

More than just posts and “likes.” Sort of a Neo-MySpace for the 2020s, but with a better mission. Rather than just scrolling through a feed of fair-to-middling “content,” Indie Town actually encourages creativity and meaningful, lasting connections.

This is THE app for DIY musicians
Finally someone has developed an app to replace what we lost when MySpace changed their format several years ago.
I love how IndieTown makes it easy for me to find other bands in my area and let’s me listen to them without ever leaving the app. Setting up shows and collaborating with like minded bands is going to be much easier now and will keep me away from the toxic dump that Facebook has become.
I really look forward to being apart of the community as it grows as all of us DIY musicians benefit together.
