Up-To-Date with INDY STAR

The Indy STAR keeps us aware of and informed about the important happenings in Indianapolis. We rely on it when we are traveling. Well done!

Like it

Keeps me informed of all IU sports, politics, just a good paper. I live in Evansville.

Would like to support local news this app makes it impossible.

The IndyStar App makes impossible to renew a subscription. You can’t click on the package subscription button. The has prevented me from renewing the subscription for a couple of years now.

Don’t like the pop up ads

I understand that ads are important but the pop up ads for the Indy Star are annoying and hard to dismiss from my tablet.
I’m already a subscriber. No need to advertise yourself to me.

Pop Ups While Reading

I’m already a subscriber, I don’t need a pop up in the middle of reading an article telling me I can get a newsletter or any of the other stuff. It’s annoying as hell.

More ads than news

This app is really frustrating, especially since I pay for a subscription to the paper. I was hit with full-screen pop-up ads twice while reading a single article. The page is constantly broken up by ads taking up a huge chunk of the screen and it honestly feels like I’m paying just to see more ads. Makes it hard to even enjoy reading the news. Please stop abusing your subscribers and let us read the articles we pay to read.

Annoying Pop Ups

It’s incredible how a subscription I pay $20 a month for has annoying pop up ads that interrupt me while I read the news. WHY?! I don’t care about other things in the app, let me READ THE NEWS. You know, LIKE A NEWS PAPER! If I wanted a full screen advertisement while I’m looking at something, I’d be on YouTube.

Horrible update

Latest update resulted in popup ads that you can’t get rid of.

Digital Puzzles

The digital version of Sudoku is much more difficult to use. The process of using the digital Sudoku is FULL of blocks trying to coerce us users into paying for unlimited use. Don’t like this.

Love indystar!

From Greg Doyel to all the investigative reporting you do, IndyStar is the best!

Glitchy

App only opens about half the time. Sits there and spins endlessly. Have to close it and reopen it. Even then, sometimes works and sometimes does not. Have to repeat the process.

Indy Star enewspaper

I waited years to stop my paper edition but have to say the content and ease of use of the electronic edition is great.
And I don’t have to go out in frigid weather to get my copy!

IndyStar App

The app works great except for the sign on ads. Every time I access the app I get the ad encouraging me to subscribe. My assumption is I’m no longer recognized as a subscriber. This is not true. The ad simply shotguns to anybody accessing the app.

When accessing the app Please sort on line customers already subscribing to IndyStar from those you wish to recruit.

Hoosier

The same great writers !

Great e-newspaper

This is an easy way for readers to see the daily news. Great product.

Everyday!

My day just would not start off right without reading the IndyStar!

Great digital product

Local news is critical to democracy!!

No consistency in performance

I am repeatedly being asked to login, but the app doesn’t allow me to do so. I’ve subscribed for several years with no issues but today I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app twice attempting to see “for subscribers only” articles. The PrintApp is awful but at least I can get the articles read even they are usually days old.
