This application is so frustrating to use.
One of the many issues is that if Im watching a video and I stop watching it, next time I want to keep going, I have to start over. My progress is not saved so im forced to scrub and try to find where I left.
One more for the road: once I close out of a video and find a different one from a different topic or course, it plays the one I just closed. Instead of the one I chose.

A download function would be useful
The ability to download videos for offline viewing would be nice for travelers. Otherwise nice app. Also needs better ability to pick up where you left off.

Almost no buffering so it requires constant internet connection.
Sometimes when it regains Internet connection, the video restarts at the beginning.
It doesn’t save your progress so have to remember exactly at what time the video stopped to continue watching later.
Video stops when you minimize the app or lock the phone.

INE is great, but the app….
When I play videos on iPhone 13 Pro there’s no sound. I have uninstalled and reinstalled.
But the sound no longer works for the app.

Where all the money going? Not the app
This is a very expensive product so everyone would expect an app that works well. Maybe not the best app, but for the sky high pricing you’d expect a fully functional app. Let’s list out the obvious, relatively simple features they have decided not to support. I do not know where all my money is going... definitely not to improving user experience.
1. No support for Picture in Picture. Easy to set up with a simple controller if using a custom player. Should be on by default with iOS player. Truly not hard whatsoever, yet it’s no where to be seen years after it has been released.
2. The audio will not continue after closing the app as active. For some reason, the audio is completely misconfigures. It is incorrectly set up it appears as background music. I’m not sure how such an idiotic setting even made it past App Store review. Just enable it in background mode in the settings. See how easy?AVAudioSession.sharedInstance().setCategory(AVAudioSessionCategoryPlayback, mode: AVAudioSessionModeDefault, options: [.mixWithOthers, .allowAirPlay]) Maybe add the above too.
3. The misconfigured audio messes up many other iOS functions. Maybe I’m at work and don’t want my phone to ring. Well too bad. Again, how did this ever get through any app review? To listen to any video, I have to turn on my ringer, then, if I am in most areas such as religious service, work, meetings, public transit, I have to constantly go back to turning it off when I’m done watching videos and back on again to watch. Absolutely horrible, especially if I forget. I shouldn’t have to though because they should work correctly.
4. Unlike every other similar app, videos cant be downloaded for offline use. What if I’m in a plane? Udemy,cbtnuggets, etc... “Ok just download while waiting” INE: “we don’t care”
And there are many more reasons that, after this first month is over, I will never renew my INE subscription until they start to actually care about they paying customers and update the app with such simple features!!!

Good content but no audio
I’ve been using INE for years now and the content has always been great but I only recently started using the apps and I’m only getting sound when using headphones, everything is silent through the speakers. This is happening on both iPhone and iPad
Hope this gets better
The app itself operates well but unfortunately at this moment in time it’s kind of useless for some courses. As far as I can tell the only content you can view on the app is video but not all courses have video content. The current course I’m going through is all PDFs and labs so I can’t really use this app to study on the go.

Nothing opens
You can view the titles of your courses but you can’t actually open anything. It all says “desktop only”. Not sure what the purpose is for the app.

Clearly needs improvement
This app ONLY provides access to video playback. If courses do not provide a lot of videos, don't expect this app to be of much use. For written content for courses, it shows “desktop only”. Certainly this can be fixed to enable students to use the app for study/review!!! It’s obvious you can’t perform labs via mobile, but I seriously can’t review written content for courses I paid A LOT of money to enroll in?? Come on INE, lets try a little harder if you are going to list this app on your website like it should be a benefit or a motivating factor for enrolling in your courses!

Echoing others. App won’t let a user log in.

This app is broken and several people have reported that they are unable to login with no bug fix in months.

Worst App for 100 dollars a month subscription.
The course is ok, I can’t say much regarding it until I fully watch the whole videos without the app messing it up when I change from landscape to normal view, the app crashes and I have to restart the video from where I think I was because the app does not remembers where I was. This app is the worst that I have dealt with, and I’m giving one start for the courtesy of the video quality. Please fix the app, such a waste so content when the app is not functional.

It really is THAT terrible
Logged me out after watching a vid, said I didn't have subscription, and the playback speed toggle is a pain/ not easy to find/ resets on each vid.
Horrible software, great training
INE has some of the best trainers around in the areas of networking, collaboration, and systems management. They clearly don’t have anyone on staff who understands application usability in a mobile platform. Instead of jamming us with pictures of what’s new and check out this course you can buy, how about easier access to content we already own and use, and allow the app to work with CarPlay. Stop trying to make the app an advertising platform, and use it for what we NEED it for ... simple access to our training materials!!!!

Not as bad as everyone makes it out to be
No it’s not the best thing since sliced bread but it’s not terrible either! Gets the job done.
Don’t even bother installing the app
This app is nothing but a veneer slapped on top of your website. I pay $100 a month for this content, and the content is great, but this app is an insult to your customer base. All the fonts and formatting are messed up. It doesn’t remember your password so you have to log in every time you use it, plus it doesn’t even work with LastPass so I can’t auto fill my password. The video player literally just uses iOS’s crappy default video player. No offline watching. Doesn’t remember where you watched to in the video when you come back. This is really crappy compared to CBT Nuggets, and they charge about half the price for much better content delivery. Where do you get off putting out such crap that we pay so much for?

Alpha version
This is an alpha version release, beta version at best. Can’t keep me logged in... and won’t accept credentials from submitted via a password manager. I have to type it in every time. This is just unacceptable. At the very least, biometrics would have been an option. Expected more out of INE!!!
