Retro bliss

Great retro style shooter but needs variety in the different enemy ships. Maybe some crab style enemies and or some huge motherships but I’m not done playing yet so that might come. And multi player would be a nice addition.

Not Worth the Money

Mildly entertaining, super repetitive, and controls are too tight. Playing on iPhone 15

Most replayed game I have

Fun flowing gameplay. Wishing for more and more layers of depth

hard but absolutely the good kind of hard

works brilliantly with a gamepad, like all good twinsticks, and i highly recommend using one

One of the best twin stick shooters left on iOS

I have been looking for a decent twin stick shooter for a while, it seems they used to be so many available, now, they are hard to come by.
I tried downloading every single one on the App Store that I could find, then played through all of them, and this is, by far, my favourite. I paid quite a hefty amount of money for some of the other shooters, that left me completely underwhelmed and disappointed, in contrast Inferno is an absolute steal!
While not entirely perfect (on my iPhone 12 mini the sticks are awfully close to the notch and home bar, meaning I occasionally, accidentally pause the game), this has been the most fun I’ve had playing a twin-stick shooter in at least half a decade.
The visuals are on point, the enemies are difficult, but not entirely overwhelming; since buying it this has been the go-to game whenever I’ve had some time to kill on my phone.
Despite its minor faults, still easily worthy of five stars, and still the best on the App Store I could find!

Geometry Wars replacement

Great game. Really tense gameplay. Upgrades, weapons, missals and enhancements are hard to understand when selecting.

Pedestrian

Not bad, but not really good, either. Too much going on in terms of all the touch based inputs, really grindy, level design and mechanics are borderline boring.

Really love this game but stupid iOS broke it

The last update broke this game. Screen is smaller and to the right with relatively bright battery and clock near notch. Ugg. I can’t rant on this game because it’s the iOS.

Great game

Enjoyable gameplay, but the boss fights can be a bit monotonous sometimes, and when playing the special missions, the missile button does not work, which makes it hard to complete them.

Favorite ever :)

Seriously. Replayable, fast. Not expensive.... not admitting how many times I’ve played through...

UI is too large for the iPad mini

This used to play fine but at some point an update has occurred that scales the UI too much and there does not appear to be an option to resize or scale it. But was a fun game

Great fun!

This game is easy, which may be a turn off for some players. However, what it makes up in lack of challenge, is fun. This is an extremely entertaining game, and it’s well worth the price!

Good shooter

Simplistic graphics with a bit of a Tron vibe, really good music and it works really well with onscreen controls. I have only done ten levels but so far no bosses and no variation in the background graphics. Quite a few upgrades to slowly aquire as you play through the levels and not too expensive, another bonus is you won’t need a recent device to run this. I’m playing it on an iPad but it probably won’t play as well on a phone due to the smaller screen and the onscreen buttons could make it a bit trickier to play.

Just beautiful

Fantastic game, looks gorgeous on iPhone 7 screen and probably even better on iPhone X upward. Recommend.

Twin Stick Descent

It’s a twin stick/two dimensional Descent game with an awesome soundtrack, lots of upgrades, and it’s made by Luke Schneider. What’s not to love?

Pretty darn cool

I live the intensity of the firefights in this game; keep up the cool weapon choices!
