This is crap no better than your camera ..very disappointed and Iβm definitely getting my money back ..purely sucks
No IR, not real
The app doesn't magically add an IR light source to your phone, so it's not real night vision. What it seems to do is adjust the saturation level of the light, making dim things seem brighter, potentially with a thermal or green screen effect. Since my old phone could shine an IR light, I was hopeful, but disappointed.
