Brilliant idea and clever app
This is such a clever idea. Wanted to write a review to encourage the developers. It is like having a little Bluetooth connected kindle strapped to the back of your phone. I have only been using it for a short while but it works well so far. I had some initial issues with the case itself and customer service were fantastic and acted really quickly. Well done developers. My wife is really hoping that they make an inkcase for the iPhone 11. Well done such a brilliant and clever idea. Even just as a little super portable kindle it is a brilliant idea.

Don’t bother getting
Very poor app, and the awful instructions makes it impossible to set up the product
Do not buy this product!
This whole product is so bad, difficult to use and impossible to set up. Major disappointment.
Resize feature
It would be great if we can resize image to fit the crop size
Too many bugs
My device won't get out of standby mode. It worked yesterday but today it seems to be disconnected although it says connected. Will try and roll back the firm ware and see. Product hasn't been GA/tested well. Release seems a rush.
More Functionality Required
1. For the price of the case, you'd think the little bugs of the app would be worked out.
a. When you try to "thumbs down" a news article, the app crashes.
2. There should be a visual or audible cue from the app or the case (visual then) that lets you know when 1, 3, or 10 seconds has elapsed.
3. Release a tutorial that goes through initial setup on YouTube. Seriously, this is newer tech, for those of us purchasing it, make the transition easy.
4. Give more options for control on the actual screen since all we can use are two arrows and a home button.
5. Push the firmware updates (alerts at least) to the app so we know when to update the case.

Ebook???
Not sure if this normal, but when I'm reading an ebook and then put my inkcase to sleep/shut off it returns to the first page. Haven't been able to read an ebook because of this issue.
Major flaws with image uploads
Mandatory cropping of photos in app to upload to Inkcase outputs zoomed in, off center, pictures. If this is not fixed there will be major complaints with the device! This is one! Put some effort into the app! You can't have a nice product with a terrible app.
Awesome idea but please improve the app
I like the ink case. It's a brilliant idea. The biggest compliant for the app is that it keep updating and sending the data to the case. I'm ok with that but please put this sync task in the background. The syncing progress window is very annoying. Also for the reading, please support mobi. Format!

Needs to improve
Overall I would give the case and app a c-. Improvements are needed to prevent the flashes on the screen when refreshes. Also, I have no clue where the app gets it temperature data as it is completely wrong and typically off by 20 degrees or more.
The case is nice and I like the concept yet seems to be a work in process.

Crap
With the experience that i have right now is very bad. The apps crash all the time and it is like i bought a rock because without the apps, the inkcase is only a case at 100$
Much improved, but needs work.
Your app is getting better with each update. Thank you for your work. Please keep updating it to add more functions & fixing bugs.
Scam!!!
I can not believe I actually bought this without doing independent research! I learned about this product from a trusted app, but this does not do a single thing it says that it can!!! It will not load books, or any single other "app." There's no way to load weather, boarding pass information, clocks, etc. etc. it finally loaded a picture, but it's uselessly littered with its own advertisements!! Do not waste your money, and yet again another great idea but poorly executed!!

Just pictures?
Just got my inkcase i6 and as far as I can tell all it does is show black and white pictures on the screen. I'm hoping it will function as advertised soon. Specifically the ability to read books. Notifications would be a bonus. But the picture functionality is completely pointless. Until it does anything else I can't give it more than one star.

Poor Product
Very disappointed with product and apps.
Nice hardware- connection issues w ios9
So excited to get this and .... It doesn't connect via Bluetooth, apparently their are issues with ios9 and the App. My greater frustration lies with the App not telling me jack squat- there very little information conveyed about what to do and what is working/not working. Hopeful an update occurs soon, so I can provide an updated review....

Broke after update
This broke after the 2 most recent updates of the app. It won't work on iPads or iPhones and I have tried it ranging from iOS 7.? To iOS 8.3

Doesn’t work at all
I don’t understand this app at all. It has no capacity to link with the InkCase and doesn’t do anything that it is supposed to. There is absolutely no support for the inkCase app of the actual product.
