About

Turn any screen into a slow, glowing work of art that also tells the time. Inkspill Clock fills your iPhone, iPad or Apple TV with clouds of colour that drift and bloom like ink dropped into water. The colours blend and change as you watch, so it never looks the same twice. PERFECT FOR • Your bedside table: a calm, clear clock through the night • Your desk: an ambient display beside your monitor • Your TV: a living-room screensaver that glows • Moments of pause: something lovely to watch while you breathe FEATURES • Large, clear time and date • Animated live on your device, not a looping video • Screen stays on while the clock is open • Portrait and landscape • HDR glow on supported displays • No ads, no accounts, no tracking. Pay once, keep it forever. • Family Sharing for up to six people

User reviews

Almost perfect

I purchased this mainly for AppleTV, and it works exactly as it should.

My use case is simple.. I put on music and start this app. Now I can see the time without having to touch anything.

My only concern is burn in, since the clock doesn’t move…. But the colors behind it do, so only time will tell.

Totally worth the 99¢

Response from developer

Hi, thanks for your feedback. I've just pushed a fix (version 1.0.1) for Inkspill that forces it to stay in the foreground, stopping the screen from dimming and the screensaver from starting. Can't believe I left out something so obvious! The issue with playing music may be a limitation of the tvOS platform though. I'll investigate and if there is anything I can do, I'll work on a fix. Cheers, James
