worst app

this was one of the worst apps ever! At first I really liked it but they kept wanting me to pay and if I didn’t pay i would have to wait 24 hrs or until a certain time to keep watching and when I waited for the time I could only watch one clip

Love it! But expensive

I wish it was less expensive cuz $20 is two hour of my work shift

Great…

A lot of very amazing stories and actors on this platform. Waiting to save more money to purchase the annual subscription. It’s worth the wait daily and the purchase you will not be disappointed. Enjoy new story content they provide regularly as well.

Too expensive

Would be better if prices were like Netflix or something

Euer Ernst ?

enjoyed but could be better

I really love CandyJar but I wish the viewing experience was better: like being able to change the TV episode speed (2x by holding the side) fast forwarding and reversing 10 seconds by double tapping. And even a “Cast” and “Directed by” page after clicking on the TV series. A lot of streaming platforms have this so it would make the viewing experience on Candy Jar much better

Would also love a monthly subscription instead of yearly

Future Updates

The stories are fun and predictable! It would be really nice if we could leave the app without stopping the video. And have a section of the app to keep track of the stories we’ve already watched.

Not cool

Like you have to wait for 24 hours for only five episodes you should fix that and you should at least make it like maybe eight episodes and wait like 10 minutes or five minutes and I saw something that says no wait time on the app actually there is

Great shows

Great shows but CandyJar is way too expensive and unrealistic. The movies are kind of addictive because they’re short and can watch multiple in a day and be happy with them because they’re really good but it’s more expensive than things like Netflix and things like that. I wish they offered more realistic plans like maybe the price they want weekly a month instead and I think that they would get a lot more subscribers with that as well.

Good but…

Having to wait 24 hours to unlock a 46 second episode is absurd we should at least get 5 episodes each day depending on how long the drama is, and rewards should re load every couple hours, but the dramas are good.

Didn't Work

App is jot working.

My real opinion

Personally, I think the short film dramas are T. I love all of them. I follow Noah on TikTok so I had to watch you know him on here. I really wish that the coins were a little cheaper. You could do like $.99 for 50 or like you know make it around there I’d be spending $10 every episode I mean there’s so many films and so much to watch make it cheaper but I think it’s pretty good so far it kind of reminds me of WEBTOON but clearly with people and not animated cartoon 7/10 kind of wish it was cheaper and maybe like a little more organization

Glued to my phone!!!

I was glued to my phone from the first scene!!! I wish the cost was monthly not weekly 😞

Free

The episodes needed be free

Tiraram a novelinha a vida não é apenas um jogo, com o Noah andres, procurei e não achei

Baixei só por conta da novelinha

Finally a Shorts app with no AI

It seems like almost every other shorts app besides this one and one other have been overridden by pure AI slop. Thankfully this one hasn’t. The yearly subscription price isn’t too bad either and they have some of the best shorts I’ve seen (like Fight Dirty). I also like how you can watch the shorts vertically or horizontally. My only complaint is that you can’t really look up by category from what I’ve seen, but it helps me watch different kind of shows. It also has LGBTQ+ shows as well.

Way better than other apps

The dramas on this app are so much better than the ones on the other popular apps. They’re higher quality, less cheesy, and way less AI

Never Called

So there is no way to unlock free episodes except to schedule a phone call to get a week free. You end up having to schedule like 2mos out and often all the spots are booked. If you miss the call you’re SOL. So I’ve been waiting by my phone for my 9am call and it’s now 9:30 and no one has called despite the 5,000 reminder texts I received. Feels like a scam. 👎🏽

My subscription wont work

I bought the subscription and it wont let me continue watching. It keeps pausing it after a certain episode like it’s going to ask me to use coins but then it says i’ve already bought the subscription but still wont let me continue watching. Fix this.

Wait or pay

I think these short stories are actually good unlike a lot of the rest of the halfway AI generated stuff you see as ad’s on your social media platforms. The problem isn’t the stories, it’s the greedy attempts to get an unnecessary amount of money out of its viewers. The initial story will let you get 15/40 episodes in before it asks you for a payment of some sort to continue the story, which is typical for apps like these…however, if you don’t pay you wait 19 hours to unlock the next episode, WHICH IS ONLY 50 SECONDS LONG OR SHORTER. That wouldn’t even be a problem if you had to wait 19 hours to unlock around 5-10 more episodes but you only get 1 episode out of the long wait OR you pay $20 a month for a subscription to the story. $20 a month for 50 second episodes that only have 40 episodes total is absolutely not worth it, try $5 and maybe you’d actually have a lot more subscribers because the stories ARE GOOD ENOUGH to pay a little bit of money to watch them, it’s the same concept of Netflix but Netflix charges for access to movies, tv shows, interactive games, and more. Like I said, I’d pay $5.99 give or take for the SHORT stories to let me actually watch them all the way through without be interrupted every 30-50 seconds demanding an obnoxious amount of money for me…also the actors in these shorts deserve to have their work put out there for people to see, not just who can afford to see.
