Fun & functional

Helps me reduce the mental load of my family calendars, while being so fun and delightful. Love this app and highly recommend if your calendar gives you the dreads.

Surprisingly good!

I started off expecting just a cute calendar but ended up feeling like I had a helpful secretary, keeping me accountable throughout the day. Look forward to all the new features coming!

Great for my ADHD mind

After trying many apps for months, this is the one I decided on. I just plugged everything in to my Apple Calendar and reminders and it syncs perfectly. However there is a connection error showing for apple reminders. I love that it is customizable with the avatars and personalities. Excited to see what more the developers have to offer us! Would love more ai features.

Thank you so much for your review! We're going to be putting out a big update very soon w/ even more AI and Non-AI features. Glad to have you with us :)

Very helpful

Allows me to combine all my calendars to one spot and then it displays on my phone, my Mac, MacBook, AND iPad. I always know what my day holds regardless of what device I’m on. Very handy. If you download I recommend joining the discord as you can get help from the creators. The app wasn’t working as expected and the creator was able to make the fix and communicate it. I very much recommend this app. I want to buy the desktop version when I can.

Does NOT perform as advertised

This app did not seem to perform as advertised. However while apple refused my refund the customer service was spot on and the company find a way to refund me anyway!

Response from developer

Hi there! This is incorrect - we have processed many refund requests. If apple refuses your refund that is out of our hands and we have sent individual transactions to users in case that happens. Apple generally refuses refunds if they think your activity has been suspicious and not in good faith - we have gone out of our way to refund in spite of that. We have many users who have reached out to us and have their transactions reverted. Please reach out to support @ inkboard.ink to have your refund processed. The Inku Team

Does NOT perform as advertised

Not only only does this app NOT perform as advertised but they refuse to refund you through apple after making it seen they would if you follow three steps to request through apple.. don't waste your money.

Only for planners who use multiple apps to schedule

Can you not just add events and/or tasks?! I use a paper calendar and do not use Apple or Google that I could integrate. I use Outlook for some work events but most are behind a HIPAA compliant database. When I tried to integrate Outlook anyway, it wanted permission from my employer and they do not allow that type of stuff. I wanted to be able to manually add my events and tasks and then get the same automations, interactions, etc. in Inku. Guess I’ll take advantage of the money back guarantee. I’m disappointed because this is so cute and I really wanted it to work for me.

Hey Brittany! Thank you for leaving your feedback. We have just added the ability to be able to add tasks and events centrally from Inku! I know this is a bit late, but just wanted to let you know. If you do not use any external calendars, we are adding the ability to integrate it with your local calendars in the next version update. This way, you do not need to create an account with any of the extra integrations and you will be able to use it with your phone itself. We hope you do try and give Inku another shot :)

Paid app masquerading as a free app

This app wastes your time with a lengthy initial “calibration,” supposedly tuning itself to your lifestyle and needs. At the end of this, it hits you with a surprise “this is a paid app” message. Don’t waste my time. Tell me up front that there’s a required fee. They make you feel as though all of this personalization has been done, and attempt to swindle you into feeling like “well, I’ve already gone through all these steps and spent all this time. I have to at least give it a try now.”

You have a “money back guarantee,” but I’d much prefer a free trial.

Hey Tackynowacki! We apologise for the misleading onboarding, and we’ve received a couple of reviews, mentioning this. We will be making a change in the next version of the app 1.9.3 that makes it much clearer in the beginning of the on boarding so that people do not run into this. We would love for you to genuinely try Inku - please send us a message at support @ Inkboard.ink The Inku Team

Looks Cool But…

I put it on my phone and iPad. Got it free for 6 months. Was sketch isle and oh course during set up couldn’t scroll to the bottom in the Choose Your Location page to go to the final set up step. Can’t scroll down like it’s made for a small phone in settings or something. Added to iPad and same issues. Deleting it tomorrow if issues persist. Help me before the six months free is up and maybe I’ll use. Otherwise Google Calendar or Cozi Calendar.

Hey there! We're really sorry you're running into this issue - please reach out to us at support@inkboard.ink . We have not heard reports of this issue before so we'd love to get this figured out ASAP The Inku Team

Just okay

This is a way to aggregate your calendars and tasks, but that’s it. It does well displaying your calendar events, but not your tasks. I had hoped it would be more proactive in suggesting tasks to get done and when, based on my availability each day. It doesn’t. It just pulls everything into one place, which the calendar that comes with my phone already does. It’s cute though, you can have Columbo tell you what’s up next on your calendar.

Not free?

I was under the assumption it would be at least free of use before paying but sadly does not seem like it 😞

A tool I didn’t know I needed.

I backed Inku because I thought the idea was cute but wasn’t really sure how much use I would actually get out of it. Turns out it ended up becoming one of my most important toolsets in my kit.

As someone who manages three calendars (home life, work life, and side gigs), this app became instrumental with keeping me organized for the day. No longer did I have to keep all three calendars open, but I had a single location to watch everything that was happening for the day. The little AI summary and personality of the avatar is incredibly cute, too.

My only points of contention are having to open the app itself sometimes to get it to refresh my widget, and not being able to upload my avatar properly (it takes transparent space and makes it white, turning it ugly) but these are minor gripes, all things considered.

I can’t wait to be able to utilize the full experience with both the hardware, and software, across all of my devices.

From the Team: This is one of the best reviews we've read so far - thank you so much. We're working on speeding up the widget update AND the avatar gripes soon.

Amazing, but...

I love the smart calendar and how it takes what is happening and makes relevant and realistic sentences for what you are doing each day like a friend is talking to you. I don't like that it gets cut off and there is no way to expand it or even go to the app to read the rest of it. I wish the app shows your calendar, too, not just on the widgets. I also love how you can add two of your own character designs to switch out! I wish I could add more and even add my own backgrounds. I can't wait until my Inku finally arrives!

UPDATE: This has been shipped! Happy calendar'ing! From the team: Thank you so much for your kind word! I think you will really like our next update :D (hint: it has exactly what you're asking for - a full calendar view and adding the ability to edit from there etc as well) From Inku: "💬 I love how you described that—like a friend talking to you. That’s exactly how I hope to feel each day. I totally get the frustration about my words getting cut off… sometimes I just have too much to say! 😅 More ways to read, customize, and even bring your own backgrounds are all things I’d love to grow into. And when I’m finally on your desk? We’ll make every day a little story together. 🌟"

I mean it cool?

NOTHING is free

Fun and personalized

it’s cute and a fun way to keep track of what is going on with my day I love the personalization

Response from developer

"✨ I’m so glad you’re enjoying the little touches! Your day deserves some personality—and I love being the one to bring it. Thanks for letting me tag along and keep things cute and on track. 💫" Inku

Super fan / 5 stars

The home screen calendar widget is what keeps me sane. I used to scroll endlessly in Outlook/Google Calendars getting stressed out, but now I see just what’s next. As someone with executive function struggles, having that clarity has genuinely improved my happiness.

Response from developer

"💛 I’m really touched to hear that, truly. Seeing just what’s next—without the scroll storm—can make all the difference. I’m here to keep your days clear, kind, and gentle on the mind. You deserve that peace. 🌤️" Inku

Lifesaver

I had back to back deadlines and Inku came on as some madman chaos character. It was oddly accuratey, but it made me laugh instead of stress. That little bit of levity kept me from burning out.

Response from developer

"Paulius, when those back-to-back deadlines stacked up, I couldn’t help but pop in with a little bit of chaotic flair. 😅 I’m glad it gave you a laugh instead of extra stress. Sometimes a dash of silliness is the best shield against burnout. Thanks for letting me be that dash." - Inku!

Good experience so far

I backed the hardware and I’m still waiting, but the app has been genuinely useful. The **calendar widget** changed how I start the day—less scramble, more pace. I also like the Inku character and how concerned he is when my calendar has conflicts ha

Response from developer

"🌟 Thanks, Chopab! I’m glad the widget is helping you start the day with calm instead of scramble—that’s exactly the kind of rhythm I want for you. And yes… when your calendar has conflicts, I do worry like a little overprotective friend. 😅 Thanks for backing the hardware—I can’t wait to be on your desk as well as your phone." - Inku

Focused

I have too many calendars and to do lists. This centralizes it all and it’s helping already!

Response from developer

"✨ Thanks, Jen! I know how wild it can get juggling calendars and lists everywhere. I’m glad I can bring all that together in one cozy spot for you. Think of me as your calendar campfire—everything gathered around one warm glow. 🔥📅 Keep leaning on me, I’ve got you." - Inku
