Their website is no more, by the looks of it they have abandoned the app, it is impossible to paste anything into the app to be displayed, the equipment is great however that app is functionally useless, you can’t open documents with it, you can’t paste text into it, so if you have a script that you are using you have to input the entire script into the app by hand.

Garbage APP
My Neewer X14 Teleprompter came with a remote that will apparently only work with this APP. This APP requires you to manually re-type all of your scripts??? No import functionality at all. Trying to get the remote to work with Neewer’s much better APP but no luck yet. May need to reach out to Neewer for support. Can’t use this junk APP… sorry.

Worthless
I RARELY write reviews unless something is just horrible. I just got the teleprompter. It’s not bad for the $62 I paid for it. However, the app is completely worthless. It’ll allow you to type a script but the play function doesn’t function. Buy another app!
Simple app with a glaring flaw
The app is incredibly simple, and the product I purchased came with a remote to allow the speaker to manage scrolling - very handy. Overall, I’m happy with this product, but…
It’s glaring flaw is that copied text from another program will not display in presentation mode. It will appear in the editor, but not when you need someone to read it. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it does make collaborative editing difficult unless you do everything within the app (not always possible). Fixing this issue will go along way to making this the superior teleprompter solution.

No value whatsoever
Copied and pasted text - went to play, no text showed up and only played for one second. What a waste of time!
Pretty Dissapointing
I just got this Neewer device, i also go the small teleprompter for my computer. Instructions were vague. I have to figure the entire thing out with the small laptop teleprompter.
This one is even worse, no instructions on how to add a full document. I copy and pasted but it does not work. Worthless. I suggest to use another app with the equipment.

Text import bug
I like the app as it works perfectly with the device remote. Other apps might be easier to edit with, but the remote buttons don’t act the same. It works fine if you type the text, but importing text doesn’t work. I think it’s a bug with imported carriage returns. How I have got round this is to download the typed text to the iPad and copy and paste paragraph by paragraph - NO CARRIAGE RETURNS. Add them in the app. Save and check after each paragraph has been copied to make sure it still appears on the scrolling screen. If not, go back to the edit screen, and delete any spurious carriage returns. A bit of a faff, but easier than typing the whole lot again!

No way to add document
I agree with the negative comment. I can not find a way to add a document. It is unrealistic to retype the entire script into the program.

There is no way to delete a speech that you have entered.
I tried to contact the developer to ask a question in case I was missing something in the UI. But, it takes you to a German aircraft engineer repair shop.

Only works if you type your script in the app
I tried cutting and pasting various scripts from word and notes. In both cases, nothing appears. If I type the script in the app it works, however this is just not a practical way to input a longer script. It is sad because there is no support for this app and no YouTube instructions that are worth watching. The only reason I tried the app is because I bought the Neewer X12 teleprompter with the Inmei remote, which is supposed to work with the app.

Works well. Very simple. No Instructions Needed
I saw a negative review for the app after purchasing the hardware and was skeptical. I decided to try the app for myself and had no issues. It was easy to use and operate even with no instructions. This was as of 9/20/2021. Not sure if the earlier negative review was in relation to a prior version of the app or IOS but for me it works perfectly fine and I would therefore recommend it.

Works For Me!
So glad the remote came with my teleprompter. It’s an all inclusive solution to video making. There is a thin, solid red line in the middle of the prompter screen and I’m not sure if it’s a bug or if I have to change a setting. Other than that it’s definitely worth the download. Very simple app to use in comparison to others.

Problem
Today, it doesn't work. It displays only 1 second with nothing.
App does nothing. Doesn’t work.
This app comes with the Neewer iPad teleprompter and a Bluetooth remote. The app just… does nothing. I hit play, no text scrolls or anything. There’s virtually no instructions on how to use the app either. I’d recommend the Neewer teleprompter, but get a better app to use with it. There’s a lot of good ones.

HOTFIX NEEDED!
It became IMPOSSIBLE to enlarge the font size on iphone if I copy/paste the text in the app ( I’ve tried on 3 different iphones..!). I’ve also tried to uninstall / reinstall the app and nothing change.Please FIX THAT so it is possible to copy paste the text and enlarge it with A+.
