My new prayer journal

I really love this app for keeping track of prayers I don’t want to forget. The ability to customise the app with different colour palettes is a great touch, and I’ve really enjoyed using the guided prayers on days when I’m not sure what to pray. Overall, it’s a fantastic app that I’d highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Updated IR is so nice to use

I admit I wasn’t a regular user of the first IR app. The changes include a high quality design and ease of use. Both elements allow me to pray with some freedom and freshness that my prayer life has been lacking. I really like the changes and invite you to give it a try.

Love the new app

I appreciate the library of guided prayers and the ability for those to integrate with personal prayers. Also the option to have music play while praying through requests is clutch! Well done on the new app!

*I didn’t use the old app much as it seemed more clunky and not user friendly.

Missing many of the old features

I’ve been using the Inner Room app for quite a while now and it’s really transformed my prayer life. The old app I’ll admit had lots of things that made it overly complicated and cluttered, and I do like that the redesign has tried to simplify things. But in doing so, I feel they’ve lost some really helpful features from the old app. For example, being able to set a timer, (I know sometimes you don’t want to be restricted by a timer, but being able to choose if you want it or not would be really helpful, rather than completely taking it away) or being able to have a prayer be put in multiple different playlists (or what are the equivalent of pots) I’m also not a fan of waiting to listen to God at the end of your whole time of prayer, with the old app, it put aside time as you went along for each prayer, making it feel much more like a two way conversation with God, rather than I’m speaking for 20 minutes, then I’ll let God speak for 2 minutes at the end.
There’s very little information anywhere in the app explaining how to use it or what the different functions and stuff do, so if there are things you could do with it, you might not realise unless you spend time playing with it and working it out for yourself.
I do really appreciate some of the ways they’ve taken on board feedback from users though and really tried to simplify it and make it more user friendly. I just feel it still needs a few tweaks.
I’ll be sticking to the old app whilst it’s still usable as this just doesn’t work for my needs in its current state.

We're encouraged to hear that the app has played a meaningful role in your prayer life and that you appreciate the effort to simplify the experience. At the same time, we understand your concerns about features from the previous version that you found valuable, including timers, prayer organisation, and the way listening to God was woven throughout prayer sessions. We also appreciate your feedback about onboarding and helping users understand the app's features and functionality. We're listening carefully to feedback like yours as we continue to develop and improve Inner Room. Thank you for recognising the work that's gone into the redesign while also sharing where it isn't yet meeting your needs. Your feedback helps us better understand how people are using the app and what matters most to them.

Poor replacement

Enjoy using the original app - especially the daily rhythms. Not having those on the new app (which is not easily to use) rules it out for me. Sticking with the old one - as long as it is active
