A COLLECTION THAT STAYS YOURS
Every bug you identify is saved with its photo and the day you found it. Over a season the garden becomes a list. Your collection lives on your phone, and the photo sent for identification is not kept afterwards.
AN OFFLINE FIELD GUIDE
Forty common species come with the app: butterflies, beetles, spiders, bees and wasps, ants, flies and mosquitoes, household pests. Searchable, readable on a plane, and it works whether or not you turn identification on.
BUILT TO BE HONEST
Cicara tells you when it is not sure, and shows you what else it could be. Identifications from a photo can be wrong, and the app says so instead of pretending otherwise. The risk notes are general information, not medical advice.
PRIVACY YOU CAN CHECK
Before a single photo leaves your phone, the app tells you what is sent and asks. Decline and the encyclopedia keeps working. Turn it back off any time in Settings. No name, no email, no account, no location, no tracking.
CICARA PRO
Taking the photo is free. Cicara Pro is what opens the answer: the name, the risk level and what to do about it, for as many bugs as you meet. The offline encyclopedia of forty species stays free either way.
SUBSCRIPTION AND TERMS
Cicara Pro is an auto-renewable subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, and it renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it any time in your Apple Account settings.
