This app is so good if you want a nice easy editing app you can use this app for many purposes and I will always stay loyal to this app. Please get this app and I’m not trying to force anyone, but this is really nice. It doesn’t even have that many ads. It’s good for beginner editors, and I will never stop using this app.

Garbled sounds
Good features but sound compression awful. I had my voice recorded in iPad audio and an mp3 song. Absolutely trash sound. Horrible reverb , awfully tinny sound on mp3. Completely useless video.

Because I love how the app makes it easier and shorter to save rather than just 30 straight minutes

New changes make it unusable
Previously you could watch an ad to remove the watermark, now you have to be subscribed to pro and so this makes the app useless as a free user. Because of this switch up I’d rather pay pro with a different app.
Best editing app but…
This video editor is good for 2K/4K videos, nnisthebest, solo creators and small creators, but when you edit the texts you realized everything’s changed when you edited again. But still the best editing app so far.

Consumer reporting laws in the United States protect my right to make this negative review and criminalized efforts and actions by Apple or InShot or any other entity to delete my negative review. My negative review is a consumer report protected by law and cannot legally or lawfully be deleted. InShot has recently changed its privacy policies to be extremely invasive, essentially trying to collect as much inappropriate and unnecessary data about the user as possible, including precise, geolocation data, IP address, and more. InShot used to be an excellent, a free, and private app for people to simply make fun YouTube videos. No one asked them to start invading our privacy or to force us to have an AI in the app. I was extremely displeased to find that they had chosen to use AI. I recently on August 4, 2026 received the nasty and overbearing privacy policy update message from InShot. They placed the consent button in the most prominent position and give you an option to choose “vendor preference“ which means the worst possible privacy policy for the user. As a longtime user and customer of InShot, I am extremely displeased and I will now be beginning my search for a new and better open source or Free video editing software, which does not violate my privacy and which does not include AI. You have driven me away as a long time and loyal customer. Consumer reporting laws in the United States protect my right make this post and for this negative review to remain published in perpetuity. Deletion of this post either by Apple, or by InShot, or by any other entity, constitutes a violation of law and a violation of my rights as a consumer to publish a consumer report. I reserve all my rights.

Hmmm
I like being able to have an app where there is no access to the internet like TikTok and CapCut but I can still make cute trending videos. I don’t love the audio parts. None of it works too well. Every video I either have to record music my self and upload it from a video or i have to use their sound effects ☹️If your willing to do that or don’t care much about music/ audio this is the app for you!
