Free Promo error

Linked a brokerage account to get 1 year free.. can’t claim free offer. Keeps saying “Purchase Error. Please try again”

They charge money but noone tells you if you have no us citizenship you are not able to use it. return my money please

You are able to use the app even if you are not a us citizen. The app shows you data, and notifies you when politicians disclose news trades. You do not need to be a US citizen to use it.

Have to pay

The only profile I seem to be able to see is Nancy Peloci for free. Everyone else is behind a paywall. Could be great, but you will need to pay to use

Maintaining the app costs us money. We try to make the app useful even if you don't want to pay. We will consider making more portfolios free in the future.

We encourage users to view the public disclosures themselves for free in the government website. Insiderwave makes it easier for serious investors to track politicians' trades, view their full portfolios and stats, as well as get notifications as soon as they disclose new trades. Most users save hours a week using the app instead of the messy government website disclosures.

Beware of the “Free Trial”

Beware of the free trial. 7-day free trial just locked me in for three months even when I cancelled the day after signing up. The “support” page for the app is a dead link. Info on the app may be useful for some but you can find it elsewhere for free

The free trial DOES NOT lock you in for three months. You must have accidentally selected it instead of canceling your trial. Please email info@insiderwave.app and we will refund you immediately.

Started charging for what was free

Recent update for “minor bug fixes” has blocked me out of viewing portfolios and now have to pay their hefty subscription fee to see it. This app was convenient, not necessary it isn’t hard to find recent trades by congress.

Thanks for the feedback and fair point. The recent update introduced subscription limits on some portfolio features, which understandably frustrated users who were previously accessing them for free. We’re still trying to find the right balance between keeping useful features accessible while supporting the costs of maintaining and improving the platform. That said, we hear the feedback regarding pricing and feature access, and we’re continuing to improve both the product and overall experience.

Useful for information

The app is useful. I really like the UI; it’s clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate. The stock information is useful and I also like being able to view different politicians and their activity. A downside of this app is that the app sometimes asks me to log in more often than I expected, which can be annoying and I am still waiting for the Robinhood integration. Overall, I enjoy using this app and plan to keep it to stay informed on things that I might otherwise miss!
